Hi Sealman, did you see any young stars in the making?

As expected, most of the entries are from SIN, INA, MAS and THA. But it is good to see participants from
VIE, PHI, AUS, HKG, JPN, IND and even BAN.

I dropped by SBH during lunchtime and managed to catch some action.

Ramadhani Muhammad Zulkifi from Djarum was quite impressive with his wristy disguised techniques and defeated a Malaysian junior in three games.

Ratchanok's club sent in a team again this year and the thai players are doing well presently. The juniors from the Thai national team are participating in this tournament as well.

Also spotted Chandra Wijaya at the tournament.

The BBQ pork from the nearby Bee Cheng Hiang store appears to be a favourite with the players who were seen munching this 'unhealthy' stuff :D

PB Djarum has 3 promising BS U-15 players:
Ramadhani Mohd Zulkiffli - Winners of Sirnas Kalimantan and Banten Opens 2012, and Walikota Surabaya Cup 2012.

Joyireh Avi Manasye - Winner of Sirnas Jakarta Open 2012.

Fauzi Ramadhan - Winner of Sulawesi Open 2012.

Both Joyireh and Ramadhani have progressed to R16.

Thanks badMania. Hope to see them in action and eventually become winners.

Unfortunately there are no seedings for other events apart from the U19, I think.

Just wonder how many are from the club and how many have advanced in the tournament.

Can't identify any familiar names from the Thai contingent but we know the Thai girls should perform creditably as their more senior teammates have shown in the international arena.

Exist is a new club. built by the owner of Alexis Hotel, the most famous place for nightlife activity in Jakarta (if you know what i mean hehe).

They have 2 famous coaches, Marleve Mainaky and Thomas Indrajaya (former USA coach cmiiw). There is a rumour that Vita Marissa will be Exist's coach also after retire.
Kawasaki is their sponsor. With good fund, they got some very good talents.
Watch Fitriani (14 yo). Many said that she is the most promising GS in Indonesia. She is improving fast under Marleve and become regular Sirnas winners in U-17.
