Hi. Any idea which would be the best place (price wise) to buy the N9 in Singapore ? A friend of mine is going to visit Singapore for a week and sort of wanted to get this racekt from there..
Can someone compare this racket with the Li-Ning N80? Only difference seems to be the stiffness and the "Turbo charging"-technology...
Too me the weight feels like it's in the T-joint giving the shots still a punch but also makes the racket very fast to handle. For Stiffness all I can say is it's just flexible. I haven't had any other racket with the same stiffness like it.
Bravesword 10 is a bit of a let down in the power department. N9 is aerodynamically slower for defense. Just a very little but from what I experienced. Powerwise, it's much greater than Bravesword 10. I borrowed an acquaintances' N9 for a few hours. I have an N7 and N99. Going for an N9 real soon.
We will never have to latest and greatest, but you may want to wait for the N9-II. It look awesome... Check it out on Li-Ning Fan Page. My experience in defence is the same as yours but compared to my regular racket ZF-II 4U. I would rate my swing speed as 5 (1 being a total beginner and 10 being a professional big hitter) so I definitely gain a little more power from the med-stiff shaft flex of the N9, however have never been 100% confident in the N9's moveability during fast exchanges.
The N9-II fu haifeng and N7-II Zhangnan are out! Both looks really great. Plus they won the gold medal lol. The are already available at www.racquetforce.com !!! Go grab it.
Idk why... this racket is not hard to tame. Quite a user friendly, but very beefy yet quite heavy. I feel that this racket is heavier than my jetspeed s12, mx80, sw35 (all 3u). Sweetspot is quite big. Overall it is a great racket.. i can't use it for 3 hours session continiously. Power is really good, backhand and clears are easy. 2u user can have this racket, but regular 3u user i dont think all can survive with its heaviness, except u usually have the heavy 3u.
Can anyone compare N7 / N9 with yonex product range? I was playing doubles with NR800 and search for more even balancied and smashing racket. II-models are already available in Moscow, but goddamn price! ))
i jz bought the n9ii. comparing to my usual racquet of choice the n9, i found that n9ii is slightly lighter jz that the head weight has been shift from the T joint for the n9 to somewhere 3 and 9 o clock. also not sure due to the new paint or the shape of the head, the head is more aerodynamic hence fast head swing. definately the n9ii is stiffer than the n9. i also found that the shuttle holds the speed better with the n9ii, comparable to my other racquet n90 iii.
