    because:
    1. lindan use armortec 700 racket that doesn't suit with bg-95
    2. more repulsion means more distance in same strength, with his currently strength if lindan use bg-95 then his shot will go out more likely
    3. why should he change the string if he is already find that the best for him?

    1. bg-66 is the 1st choice many player in indonesia, why? cause it easy to get it
    2. he doesnt play smash so often, why? his stamina far below lindan's
    3. he prefer playing net, and he find bg-66 give him better control on net play

So, it seams that indirectly you are saying that the strings with more repulsion power are for the weaker?

Can you explain technicaly, why Nanogy 95 doesn't suit with armortec 700?

Generally tropical countries prefer thinner strings and high tensions on feather shuttles. Colder countries use thicker strings and lower tensions on plastics and, for the more fortunate, feathers. BG65 is the de facto standard string in China. Surprisingly, most of China's source of BG65 comes from Hong Kong distributors, who sell BG65 in thousands of packets to shops and distributors in China. This is a major reason why some apparently money-losing badminton shops and distributors can still survive in HK. For a shipment of 10,000 BG65 (this is not uncommon) to China they make perhaps a mere HK$0.50 per packet but the total profit margin is HK$5,000 per shipment.
Other Yonex strings in China are not brought into China in such giant lots. The profit in BG65 is high because of lower costs, brought on by huge quantity orders, lower volume costs, and lower unit warehousing and logistics costs.
This perhaps explains why BG65 is extremely popular in China. The top Chinese players want to be assured that they get the strings they are used to everytime, irrespective where they play, especially in China.

NBG95 is good on any racket. A good string is a good string regardless of the racket.

    1. U mean other model of yonex is "difficult" to find in indonesia?
I dont think that's the reason. If you talking abt pro player, and sponsored by Yonex, I m sure they can get any model of string they prefer! Just tell Yonex, and Yonex will send them a container!

    2. Really because of this reason?
I remember one of the match during SO 2005 (if I m not mistaken againts LD in semifinal), TH snap his racket strings 4 times . He's so worried he'd run out back up racket so then he 'called' his coach to quickly restring the snap one (even when the match was not yet over)

I guess, string just 'like' racket.... each individual player has their own preference...
What LD's like doesn't mean good for TH... and doesn't mean good for other players...

    just my 2 cents ;)

    1. yes, it's hard to find, TH already use bg-66 since he was 15, and i don't think Yonex will provide a container, trust me...
    2. in Asean Games Doha 2006, in final single, he beat lindan after 2 previous match he was lost, he admit that his stamina far below lindan, so he has to finish lindan in 2 set, fortunately he did it...

string with more repulsion is for every body who like the repulsion, depend on their style of play, but if u wanna smash so often please dont use bg-66.
recently baochunlai use armortec 700 with bg-95, very very down below his actual performance.... his smash is not better than mine...
before now, BCL use ns8000 with bg-65ti, everytime he do a jump smash, there is nothing that Taufik Hidayat could do except just standing and stunning in place...

its mainly because BG65 is an all rounder and its durable, if LinDan were to use BG66, being one of the best smashes he might change his racket after a few rallies because his strings snap.
also if lets say he were to use BG68Ti repulsion string, i think he dare not do anything close to netplay.

Its not very secure to analyse what's happen now with BCL smashes only because he have changed the strings. You don't know exactly what is happen with him. As you can easly imagine, is that BCL will detect the problem after a few smashes. He didn't need to verify that in a tournment, right?!

ask himself, don't ask me why he still use bg-95 and his smash speed decrease,
if i wonder and u wonder why, that wouldn't solve the puzzle, right?
it just my opinion that armortec doesnt suit with bg-95, yonex boss in indonesia also told me that....even bg-95 haven't available in indonesia yet

First of all, everyone has their own personal string preference. In my opinion LD uses a bg 65 because of his explosive power and immense tension therefore the need a thicker string to prevent the strings from snapping during a match. TH uses bg 66 and high tension which means more risks of strings snapping. hehe He must have used a MILLION packs fo strings already.

Don't the Pro players like LD and TH get sponsored by Yonex? If the sponsor only gives them BG65 strings for FREE, I think it's silly for LD to buy other strings to use.

    why LD uses bg65-

    1) with LD's power + crazy tension, he'll prolly burst thin strings
    2) he simply finds it good for him

TH's tension is probably lower than LD's so he can use the thinner bg66?

nope, LD strings at 30lbs..TH hits 34lbs...
it's just personal, no conclusion to be drawn...(except that TH obviously can't be bothered by a snapped string:eek:)

sorry, but i gotta point out some professional athletes do this. i know this isnt badminton, but in tennis Rafael Nadal puts a LOT of lead tape at 12 o-clock on his racket, so instead of using the lead tape to help his swing, he uses it to restrict his swing speed because of his strength. if you havnt seen, his muscles are huge :O
