It would probably be better because it's not made of lower grade materials. ;)

It's probably the same as other ZF2 player code rackets, just a nicer and better version of what Yonex sells to us chumps.

Oh... now that's strange. Maybe he prefers round rackets...

It probably rounds off the ZF2 head shape to be honest.

Personally, Lin Dan is under contract with Yonex but the national team, of which he is still a part of, is sponsored by Li-Ning. That's why he still has to use Li-Ning clothing on tour since he is still on the national team. Only athletes with Lin Dan's caliber could pull that off lol

So why does LCW, who is obviously with Yonex wear Yonex when on tour when team malaysia is sponsored by Victor?

I guess there's more unity in the Chinese National team. And plus Li-Ning is a Chinese product. Both LD and LCW are special cases and it all comes down to their own respective badminton federation in terms of the rules on what they can wear, etc. I can't fully answer your question but I'm very sure LD couldn't wear Yonex apparels due to the rules set by the Chinese Badminton Association. Also note that LCW was already using Yonex for a while since Malaysian team was using Yonex before switching to Victor, and he's been their main poster boy for a while. Lin Dan, on the other hand, opted out and wanted to use Yonex again after switching to Li-Ning, which I'm sure he was forced to, back in late 2008-early 2009 from Yonex, who was CBA's original sponsor.

Theres a difference in contracts. Malaysian players, afaik, are free to choose their own sponsors, just like the Indonesians, but have a team sponsor for the team events (Thomas/Uber/Sudirman cup). That team sponsor supercedes the others only at those team events.
With the Chinese team, it's different - they never went away from the unified team sponsor, just like the Korean team. If you want to play for China, you use Li Ning - Lin Dan's deal is the exception, and he only got to do it after months of negotiation and even then only because he is the most successful player of all time.....and while I can't be 100% sure, I'd bet my rackets that he went with the company that paid the most, simple as that.

Btw, not many MS2 players can challenge LD so he does not need to worry. And CHN can not really use LD as MS1 because then MS2 and MS3 is too weak.

Chong Wei challanges Lin Dan on the fashion front. Opts for a new mohawk with shaved lines haircut.

He probably cant wear any other sports clothes, but he could wear, you know, normal ones....people just like to wear comfy stuff when traveling.
Many of the players wear some of their badminton clothes in their free time too - I know I do :D
