Ouchie. That's really sad. Such a nice and expensive racket going to the bin already. We had the same problem before in the court where we used to play.

This actually is the first racket in my almost 30 years on badminton courts that has died in my hand. So I guess it was just overdue.

Definitely going to get another N7II, but I'm afraid the Setiawan ones have died out in the meantime. Such a shame.

If you would want the same colorway see this https://www.sportsuncle.com/badmint...urers[9]&sort=p.price&order=DESC&poip_ov=5078 it is a bit overpriced though.

No idea. A lot of luck I guess. Had numerous clashes but so far always got away with paint chips and minor cracks. It has always been the other racket that had to pay the ultimate price.

It shouldn't have been the n7ii. It has been the racquet for me that I would fall back to when ever I am having an important match. I trust it over my AX88D and N9II

Very lucky indeed. Before I switched to the 80TDs my N80s got a lot of deep scars and even cracks from clashes. One of them even died while I played a drop.

    Turbocharging 70/n7ii vs 75/n9ii

Hi guys I need your suggestions between the n7ii and n9ii.

My friend is looking for a new racket. He is currently using Duora Z Strike and he felt that it was too stiff and he didn’t generate enough power from it.

He is a front court player and he needs a racket that can help him deliver smashes when he is at the back court, but also compatible for front court play style, such as fast reactions, good defense, drive, net play, good control, etc.

Which one will you suggest from n7ii and n9ii will be more suitable for the replacement?

    Thanks before!

Thanks! May I know the reason? What aspects that n7ii do better than n9ii for a front court playing style?

1.Stiffer than N9II, not DZS stiff but adequately stiff
2.Little head heavy balance, can't compare it with the DZS as I haven't used it, but the N7II would be close to an even balanced racquet
    3. Fast in defensive play
    4. Is no slouch in smashing. Due to the faster swing speed it can smash hard with the right technique.
    5. Has a bigger sweet spot than the DZS.

The N9II is similar in speed to the n7ii but a little flexible than the N7II which might hinder your precision play. By what you told me about the kind of player your friend the N7II will be a better replacement than the N9II

    Great details, thanks!

I’ve read many posts about the n7ii and n9ii. In terms of smash, n9ii does better than n7ii. Is it true? Does it feel a lot differences or it just slightly better than the n7ii? I hope there isn’t much differences lol

See according to the all the guys in this forum n9ii is much better than n7ii in terms of smashing and I do agree with that but there are two things which attribute to that, one, shaft is flexible than the N7II & two, N9II is a little more head heavier. While I do like the smashing power and sound from the N9II, the N7II isn't that much far behind and the stiffer shaft of the N7II, makes it a complete package for me.
    For me
    Clears N7II</=N9II
    Lifts N7II = N9II
    Smash N7II < N9II(For stick smash N7II>N9II)
    Defence N7II > N9II
    Drive N7II =/> N9II
    Net Play N7II >> N9II
    Drop N7II > N9II
    Speed N7II > N9II

    Head heaviness N7II < N9II
Shaft stiffness N7II > N9II(DZS>>>N7II from what I have heard, so it is just based on my mental comparison with posts on the forum)

Also one more point I wanted to add is that the frame of N7II is a little taller and narrower than the N9II. Don't know if that would help increase or decrease the sweet spot of the racquet

But yeah for your friend I would definitely suggest to go for the N7II.

That sounds like a string job difference to me. Need to compare the frame unstrung. Pretty much every Li-ning racket I've had has the same frame size.

I will be using them for 15 more days and then cut them off. Then may be I would compare again and post it.

By the way, I am sorry for going offtopic, but the durability of GT5 is great. Strung it at 27x29 and still not breaking after almost more than 2 months maybe.

Don't be too sad. Just avoid to play in such caves which people call "sporting hall" or buy a "Notfallgurke" for Indiana Jones halls were walls come closer and closer, you get partnered with a "I take everthing even infront of your feet and above your head"-ninjas or play versus this evil "Oh my net shot was poor, but I block your netkill, hope you are afraid of your racket" monkeys. BTW did you pulled the trigger for the purple one?
