I prefer the N7II over the N9II. The extra touch of stiffness and lesser head weight makes quite the world of different. I had 2 pieces before selling one off to a buddy. But both were definitely less head heavy than the N9II.

Is there anyone that can do a comparison with the n7 and n7ii? I have an n7 with a crack in the shaft so I want to get another n7 or n7ii but need some concrete info beforehand.

Since the new color of the N7II is so tempting to me and seduce me since October, I'm getting weaker and weaker. I'm convinced about the quality of Li-Ning since years, but couldn't get warm with their boxy 72 holes on flex shafts and ugly design. Now I have no reason to refuse. :D

To your question: One of my DZS make strange cracking noise at the handle (just a matter of time) and since Germany has no G5, I can't live with a G4 beside a G5. Ordering from Asia is not an option to me (I don't like to wait and the extra hassle) and buying a used one is just a very very last resort (but I don't like to buy used ones). Pulling the trigger for two G4 will result in a research with 0.4 overgrips and due my OCD I will use the G5 not anymore and will sell it. The juicy 400€ for 2 rackets with wrong size are too painful. My JS10's are on a warranty journey and since I sold all the rackets which I didn't used (somebody made a good offer) I have atm 1.5 rackets in my bag and this is too less according to my 3 racket rule for tournament season and I think BC will agree. ;) Sorry for this novel, but you asked...

Makes total sense. Looking forward to your impressions on the N7II then.

I have seen it in person and had it in my hands a while ago. Also demoed it for a short time with a stringing job to catch butterflies (crank job with flying clamps, single pull BG65 TD at 9kg o_O), which turns every racket into a Karstadt sport racket. I'm a bit unsure and was looking for a good review of a user to get the last few mm to pull...

Hopefully you'll have more luck than me. Mine was obviously a lot head-heavier than the other ones, it felt so much heavier and sloppier than the N9-II which is supposed to be head-heavier.

It definitely isn't. You must have gotten a lemon.

I know and as I‘ve destroyed another one of my N80s I‘m thinking about trying my luck with an N7-2 again. :/

It already had a serious crack in the frame from a previous clash so a complete mishit and a relatively high tension were enough. :p

So back on topic, you were saying, that the N7-2 is head-lighter and stiffer than the N9-2?

Yes definitely. I much rather the N7II. It feels faster and more responsive in a way.

Thank you, you gave me the last mm to pull the trigger. I ordered one of the purple version right now. Maybe I have it on friday *fingerscrossed. I'm very keen. Photos and a review will follow in 2 weeks.

Don't worry mate. Was 90% sure, you filled up to 100% and ordered just one to be safe. I'm a sucker for fancy colours... Also somebody must help @Rob3rt with his off-spec phobia.:( I will weight it dry and report. ;)

I hate the current colour tbh. I much prefer the original white base or even the Setiawan edition. Lovely black with green accents.
