Wonder what happened to him and his partner, JJS recently?:(

Seems very weak.. Wat happened to their DOMINANT form? Maybe it's because of LYD injury? Stll injured?

Yes, i did.. His movement seems a little bit slow to me though.. Smash also not powerful enough..

I want to see the 'old' JJS/lyd BACK!

LYD needs to wait until his arm really heals. Otherwise he will not be able to realize his full potential.

Also, given his age, this might be a good time for him to change to a younger partner than JJS. The new partnership could probably last at least 2 Olympics.

abedeng, you know as good a player as JJS? KSH is good, but I think JJS will be able to last for a few more years, I guess like 4, maybe 5.

By the time of the Olympics, JJS will be 30. I am not too worried about his fitness (Koreans are legendary at that) but he might not be able to maintain speed and power (he's the one mostly doing those power hits while LYD guards the net). Cai Yun is also 30 now but he is less susceptible, playing at frontcourt.

Koreans have many potential youngsters in MD that could be made into power hitters, not just KSH.

ASIAN GAMES – Lee Yong Dae to hold flag too
BY RAPHAEL SACHETAT – – OCTOBER 28, 2010POSTED IN: NEWS

After Koo Kien Keat, badminton will also be represented elsewhere amongst the flag bearers in the Opening Ceremony of the Asian Games through the Korean contingent, as Lee Yong Dae (another Solibad Ambassador!) will be carrying the flag. The news was just given to Badzine by our Korean source.

    Or maybe Lin Dan?

meanwhile, looking forward to catch LYD in action again. Hope his injury already healed completely..

Yes, that's right. The original news out of Korea was unclear but it was later clarified, and reported on Badzine, that Lee would be carrying the flag from Korea to Guangzhou but not at the Opening Ceremonies.

It seems that LYD only carries the flag from his country to China.. not in opening ceremony.
