I may be M'sian supporter but I want to see an ALL DEN affair in MS and MD!

but got a feeling it'll be CHN vs DEN in MDF and CHN vs Kor for MS :S

Nothing wrong with being biased toward teams you support..I think every fan pretty much do that.

But if supporting one's team means having to bash another player/team because they're not from your country or whatever, that's unnecessary imo and I'm glad not much of that happens here at least not in my short time here ;).

U r right. I noticed that whenever MAS team is not doing well in a tournament, there are always the same bunch of outsiders who never fail to take this opportnity to "attack" MAS. I'm just wondering when will all these kids grow up.

you hit the nail on the head..they have to be kids to be acting like that, hard to take them seriously and probabably excusable. But if adult wow they need help haha.

And insiders too robin7. I argued on Msian fans being overly critical (to no avail),in which BCers from other countries think so too.

And how they say here & at the stadium (though not all)- along the lines of "go back to kampung, dont play badminton anymore", not very patriotic. All our top players in MS, WS, MD mention the home grd pressure.

They're not really kids anymore, teens & in early twenties.

Then they're not exactly fans of MAS or fans of badminton for that matter.

I agree. :) I'm glad so far the moderator does not think of our comments as "unnecessary roughness"... Usually the moderators throw out or ban the ruffians...

Really?!? I don't see much [if any] anti-MAS sentiment in BC... I see much more anti-CHN sentiments and a little bit of anti-INA... Well, this is my opinion lah... :) Denmark seems to be the only country that does not get critisized or receive "unnecessary roughness" at all... :D
