Matsuyama and Shida are out losing to Iwanaga/Nakanishi.

leo/daniel and bagas/fiki knocked out in the first round. INA MD is really entering a gloomy period at the moment.
On the contrary, I feel that Malaysia MD is in an ideal condition with Aaron/Soh, Ong/Teo, Man/Tee and Goh/Izzudin who are slowly getting back on their feet.

Losing to seo/kang isn't too bad, compared to bagas/fikri who lost badly to the unknown Korean pair.

Pearly & Thinaah seems a tad blase in their first-round win against the young Japanese pair...Could have finished them off in straight sets if they wanted to, (in my opinion after watching the game) It seemed they only woke up in the 3rd set

Watching court 2 now between LKY and LJH. The line judges cum moppers are sitting rather close to the court.

Wasted chance for YJM to take the 1st game against HBJ, 19-21.

Looks like it will be done in 2 games.

I don't think these Koreans are unknown, I saw Na Sung Seung beat MAS Aaron/WY at the Sudirman cup effortlessly. Koreans just like the Chinese love to reveal their secret weapons in players during major tournaments and caught everyone by surprise. The MD have evolved so much that anyone from the Top 30 can beat anyone on their good day. Furthermore, this is KOREAN Open so home ground advantage is a factor too

Felt Thina/Pearly won't have the ability to beat the high riding Chinese pair in R2

YJM lacks a killer smash. Many a time she had HJJ on the ropes but couldn't finish it off.

Just realised that there are no INA representatives in MD, WS and WD and only one pair left each in MD and XD.

WCH coaching NKL, WTM coaching LZJ.
    Reverse roles for the coaches.

I find WCH clapping for Angus and WTM clapping for LZJ rather amusing
