    Predictions:

    MD
    Tony/Candra v Jung JS/Lee YD
    Koo KK/Tan BH v Hwang JM/Lee JJ
Repeat of Malaysian Open final. Koreans playing at home. I think Jung/Lee is especially hard to handle. The other Korean pair also no pushover.

    WD
    Gao Ling/Huang Sui v Lee KW/Lee HJ
    Wei Yili/Zhang Yawen v Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen
    Both matches close to 50/50.

For the semifinals, they only use one court. In Malaysia, there were two courts. One court is better, although inevitably there will be a few boring matches. But it would be a disaster if two good matches were to play at the same time. Other SS events should follow Korea Open's planning.

How much has KKK left in the tank? Would TBH hit more winners than KKK hit unforced errors? KOR MD has beaten them before and can beat them again on account of being fresher and having a MAS coach.
Although Hafiz is H2H 0-3 to CJ, he probably has a better chance playing CJ than LCW.This is CJ's second SS but effectively Hafiz first since he crashed out in R1 of MO07, so Hafiz should still have stamina. He'll play smart like vs CH, ie, win 1st game, lose 2nd game quickly and hopefully have enough left to close in the 3rd. Effectively,it means he plays two games.Let's see what happens tomorrow. In the meantime ,enjoy laughing!

I think it is very possible that Jung/Lee can beat Tony/Candra. I rate Jung/Lee quite highly. Of course, I rate Tony/Candra a little bit higher, but this is in Korea. Just last week, remember how the home support pushed the home pair to win.

That's a bit dangerous, isn't it? That means he must win 2 out of 2, because he has effectively thrown one game away. On paper, since he beat Chen Hong who beat Chen Jin last week, Hafiz should beat Chen Jin. But we all know it's not like that. Still I rate Hafiz as a potential equal to Chen Jin. It's just that he rarely fulfills his potential. I am already quite happy for him for becoming more himself this time around. Best of luck to him.

Your example is so bias:p... but that's fine...:p Here is a different view...

On paper, Chen Hong> Chen Jin whom beat Hafiz 3-0 in convincing fashion... Then Shouldn't Chen Hong destroy Hafiz completely even if he's injured???:p

Chen Jin beat LCW> Hafiz... then Chen Jin should destroy Hafiz this time???:D:D:D

Chen Jin will win anyways... Hafiz doesn't play well against people whom rank higher than him unless they are injured...:p

I like your rating of Hafiz but you are still sceptical of his performance.Rest assured, this time he is gonna prevail. He has almost everything:speed, power, defence, reach and a cool and calm temperament. If he is to get rid of the fancy stuff and stay focus,I would not be at all surprise, that he follows his brother's path to the final of the KO.Then,I wouldn't be surprised his former critics will sing a different tune.Likewise,I wish him all the best.

Typical of you to quote things out of context.

I also think Chen Jin will beat Hafiz but for me, it's not a guarantee like you seem to imply. If Hafiz happens to win, I wonder if you will go the way of some Taufik fans and say Chen Jin is injured. But you've already said Chen Hong is injured so I guess you are not immune to that.
