In the most unimaginable, crazy way. Seriously. I thought you all were quite harsh on poor SK, but wow...maybe you've a point.
I'm not satisfied with either of them. Momota should have won since G2 and KS most definitely had the momentum of G3 and should have won. Momota has a reaction issue imho.
You know KS very well. Don't say like that. Give credit to KS where's it's due. He did the best thing he does (he choked again) how can someone not convert that kill at an empty court ??
Man he had the momentum and I was gonna switch off after that point. Then ... Momota shouldn't be happy about this tbh
I told you before. I've been harsh, pitied , then again harsh on him. And then secretly wanted him to be at his best again (like our guys Quentin11 feel for KM and Terry for Nishimoto). You won't see me posting harsh posts for no reason. If you want to feel what all of us feel, just check interviews of KS. You'll get to know the psychology of a delusional person. I'm at that point where I would like to say to KS: "Please take some time off this rigorous, mental and physical energy sapping circuit. Go to some remote Buddhist Monastery maybe @Nine Tailed Fox can help you. Be a changed person and if possible, if you feel you have the urge. Come back to the circuit and rekindle your rivalry with KM which lost its sheen in 2018." Not gonna lie, in 2018 I wanted KS-KM rivalry to have the magnitude as same as LCW-LD, Roger-Nadal, Messi-CR7. Lol. How it turned out to be. I better stop coz it's not a KS thread.
Sorry bro maybe I'm misinterpreting your post. What do you mean by reaction issue? The way he reacted after the win or his reaction to opponent's smashes (crazily interpreting which direction it'll go) ? If the second one, that's brilliance of Momota. If the first one, then I think it's purely a human reaction. Considering Momota has used most of his energy these past few days continuously playing the sport. The way, he defended for everything and then he made a comeback coupled with KS being humble with his incapability to score easy points, who wouldn't be that happy after winning a match, right?
I meant the second one - because he is relying way too much on anticipation only and is not reacting enough. Once he anticipates in the wrong direction it is over he cannot defend. But if he could react then he would change his direction quickly to retrieve the smash. He cannot do it. But i'm not sure why he is that happy from this match though considering that point. Yes he fought but... Maybe he is more affected by things than I thought. And these victories mean a lot to him
Coz he is mentally and physically drained. And these wins, when you feel you don't have any chance and by miracle a comeback happens and you win. That asks for a reaction. Yeahh totally, we never know. This is why I respect him. Personally, irrespective of the country that a player belongs, if he/she shows some rare and tough qualities which a human generally shies from- they earn my respect. Kento has that never say die attitude, sportsmanship, being humble when you lose. These traits are important for me personally.
Don't think so. He's always crashed out exhausted after a DO final, and those times he didn't play SC and TC directly prior.
Sorry guys but forget stats or hunch - you may call it pessimism but he is not getting past Rasmus Gemke. Rasmus Gemke in my opinion will play the same style as Heo against Momota. Smash feast without the tough warrior scream of Heo. What if Heo beats VA :O
