    Hi all,

I’m visiting Hokkaido, Japan, now. I would like to get your recommendations on made in Japan badminton racket. Would be great if you also know where to buy them in Hokkaido. I play men’s doubles with:
    1. Astrox 100zz (Kurenai) 4U
    2. Arcsaber 11 3U
    3. Voltric 80 3U
I’m thinking of buying a less demanding racket (similar to Arcsaber 11) while still produces good power. I would love to explore other rackets from Yonex range and other Japanese brands e.g. Mizuno or any other niche brands. No budget limits.

    Thanks in advance.
    Peter

I would try to get a test on the Arcsaber 11 Pro, Mizuno Fortius 11 Power & Quick. Check out Gosen & Wilson rackets too!!!

Thanks for the reply. What’s the difference between Fortius 11 power & quick? 4u or 3u? I have never tried any of them.

I believe the Fortius 11 Power & Quick only comes in 4U only?

Fortius 11 Power is more head-heavy than 11 Quick.

I had a friend who went to Japan for a work-study over there, he originally wanted the 11 Power but they sold out. He came back with the 11 Quick. I asked his thoughts on the 11 Quick, he told me it's similar to 100ZZ (He frequently used the 100ZZ before & still now).

Considering you use the 100ZZ, my friend would suggest going for 11 Quick. Try the Fortius 11 Power if they have it! But as always take it with a grain of salt. I suggest you find someone or at least test it out by swinging it in-store or measuring the overall racket itself.
