I got an invitation to attend TC/UC in Japan. I still have not made up my mind yet weather i'm going or not. Schedule is a little hectic. Just want to know anyone who is also going to attend the TC/UC? So maybe can meet up if ever i decide to go.

wow, lucky you ants... :p ;)
btw, may i/we know why, by who and what you are invited there for??..

as far as other BC member who are going there, if i'm not mistaken, Viper2005(Paul) mentioned in another post, that he plans to go there as well..If he does go, perhaps you can meet up with him there..

anyways, enjoy your trip if you decide to go, eventhough your schedule is hectic.. :)

    What's the tournament called again?

    YONEX T & U Cup 2006

can we assume the invitation is from yonex to one of their racquet prototype testers?

Its Thomas and Uber Cup. Definately not as a player. HAhaha how i wish.. Just a guest , tour around and hopefully gain some knowledge about badminton related stuffs . No money to make when i'm there. But i'm sure i will definately be able to see and meet alot of new people.

Basically the prems is in Sendai City Gymnasium on 28th of April - 1st May then the Finals will be in Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium 3rd – 7th May. I don't have the full details of the Matches and time yet.

If i'm going my trip would be 27th April - 9th May.

Ants has his way. He has many friends in high places. The VIP treatment is worth quite a bit but I wonder whether his flight and accommodation will be sponsored as well? ;)

Come to think of it, I've never really been to Japan, only an overnight stay in Osaka on route to West Coast, USA and Canada many moons ago. In case Ants can't make it, is the VIP pass transferable? :D

Shame on you Kwun. Hey Ants, buddy, mate, friend? I have booked my flight and accomodation, is there an outside chance? Otherwise will have to hope for some BA help, as NIPPON TRAVEL AGENCY CO., LTD.(NTA) haven't responded to e-mails
