Good to see one Filipino MD Philip/Peter qualif)ed at the expense of two INA MDs, an unexpected result but there's always a first for everything, no mean feat. Tomorrow they face yet another INA MD
She doesn't have the body shape to play like WX. WX combines power with agility and speed. Linda's movement is a little ponderous.
Indeed. Actually I saw her movement is quite like WYH at her earlier years. She tends to not maximize her footwork, with better footwork, she will cover area easily and dictate pace better. That would reduce her power consumption too, one thing that always bother her I guess, she always suspects when playing rubber.

Positive news for INA for the upcoming AJC as Edi Subaktiar/Arya Maulana Aldiartama and Melati Daeva Oktaviani/Rosyita Eka Putri Sari progress to the Main Draw. Edi/Arya were in particular impressive, beating Chooi/Ow in 3 tight-sets and then their seniors from the same club Jordan/Didit in straight sets. They will now face Chai Biao/Guo Zhendong [5] and they should just enjoy the experience of playing a top pair! 2 Pelatnas MD pairs also impressed, in particular Ronald Alexander/Selvanus Geh. They beat the experienced Blair/Tan and then Kevin/Rafi. I watched part of the match between Ronald/Selvanus and Kevin/Rafi and the younger pair, despite dominating the U-19 circuit lately by winning 3 consecutive titles, was let down by many of their own mistakes. But its okay....since both are still only 16. The reward for Ronald/Selvanus will be a match-up against Hendra A.G./Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki. Meanwhile, Ade Yusuf Santoso/Wahyu Nayaka A.P. also progress to the Main Draw and they will face Ko Sung Hyun/Yoo Yeon Seong [4]. 2 Pelatnas XD pairs: Alfian Eko Prasetya/Gloria Emanuelle Wijaya and Lukhi Apri Nugroho/Annisa Saufika also gain valuable ranking pts as they progress to the Main Draw. Alfian/Gloria will face their seniors Fran Kurniawan/Shendy Puspa Irawati, while Lukhi/Annisa will face Hendra Setiawan/Vita Marissa.
aulia, my friend. How are you? You must be so pumped with the INA Open PSS. Even watching on line with all the noise and cheering has me going. Good analogy between Linda and early WYH. Linda always looks a little laboured with her movement. I guess with her size, it's more difficult to be light on the feet. Yes, she does appear to be getting to her shots a tad late. Against better players, she'd be toast. Anyway, enjoy the badminton
Hi madbad, I am good. You're very nice. With time differences between Indonesia and your place (umh, you're somewhere in Canada aren't you? LOL), I guess you could be more pumped than me since you already here today for qualification round. Yes INA Open always brings something, I don't remember last year edition, but this year, after following some tennis at Roland Garros, I would love to find some noise from Indonesian spectators. Real noise of course. Well, Linda already gone. I never watched Ana (who beat her today), I hope she is better. And yes, all the best for INA players. I already enjoy picking some matches for PAW game. LOL.
Wow Ana Rovita beat Linda in 1h 17 " (very long match) Too bad coz I prefer Linda though but welcome back Ana....
