Yes!!! Vita Marissa/Liliyana Natsir have beaten the first-seed Wei Yili/Zhang Yawen 21-15, 14-21, 21-18.

I think match of the round undoubtedly went to the match between Maria Kristin Yulianti and Zhang Ning. I was home just in time to watch the dying stage of the third set. Zhang Ning was on 2 match pts before Maria won 4 pts in a row and clinch the rubber-set 22-20. What a performance by her in reaching her first SS Final!! Anything can happen now against Zhu Lin tomorrow.

Have to admit I'm pleasantly surprised. INA managed to place its representative in all fields except the one that I thought they would have it in the bag (XD).

After only 3 hours of sleep, starring in front of computer for 6 hours and having my wife yelled at me for making too much noise since 2am ....; IT"S ALL SOOO WORTH IT. Bravo Indonesia!!! Can't wait to watch the Finals :) :) :)
 
By contrasting fashion to Spore SS, Indonesia SS had more upsets in later rounds, at the moment still totals 17, same as Spore SS :

Upset no 15 : MS, Indonesia’s Sony K (4th seed) beat China’s Bao CL (2nd seed)
Upset no 16 : WS, Indonesia’s Maria Kristin beat China’s Zhang Ning (2nd seed)
Upset no 17 : WD, Indonesia’s Liliyana/Marissa (4th seed) beat China’s Zhang Yawen/Wei Yili (1st seed)

Note that 3 are Indonesia winning against China OG bound players. No sure is Maria is going for OG.
