If I Could Go To Any Badminton Academy, Where Should I?

    Yeah that's correct. The academy was originally family run and is still predominantly so I believe

    Tuesday through Friday 8-10 physical 2-5 on court
    Saturday and Sunday 7-9 and 12-3

    Bit of a necropost but might ding people that have have experience.

    I'd like to do a weeks badminton training camp sometime this year but mix with a bit of relaxation by the the sea- so Bangkok and KL scrubbed off the list immediately. Google didn't turn up much so maybe a "DIY" approach would be best.

    Penang Island would be nice but for a place that's churned out some top players it seems badminton is quite limited there. Bali could also be a nice option and a lot more beachy.

    To get the best of both, it’s most likely you would have to travel after the weeks training to the beach area.

    Penang training might be more junior and youth orientated.

    Second this. There are no areas with large enough land that is economical near the beach. that is typically why badminton schools are like in the middle of nowhere lol
