HYLO Open 2021 (Nov 2-7)

Michael Sarfelt is a Danish businessman and is (
according to Boe) a huge badminton fan.
Boe told him at a charity fundraiser, that if he supportet the charity, Boe would sign up for Denmark open with him. Michael Sarfelt said, that he would support the charity anyway. but Boe true to his word, signed up to Denmark open with him, but they didn't get in. therefor they signed up to another tournament.

After completing the coaching contract in India, i wondered what happened to him. He became a player again. This should be the first in the world, i guess.
A coach turning to a player..
Yeah...after he has trained himself. Nice bloke.

He is one of the top if not the top most physical player. If he would vary his games or have half of TTY's technical skills, he could be the very best. The best players do not waste time in three game matches in early or easy rounds and conserve their energy for the real battles. He should have easily won the French open if not for the many gruelling matches he had tournaments after tournaments. He needs a technical coach on his side.
Agree, he has to learn to pace himself from match to match and form tournament to tournament.

I concur, the French Open title should've been his if he could play Kanta the way he handled Heo KH.

Kidambi Srikanth is playing well, stopping the young, promising JPN Koki Watanabe in straightforward manner.

Tbh,I saw the Belgian IC last week,I didn't feel there was a big gap between the lower ranked players there and those in the top 30. Kunlavut also almost lost to Viktor Svendsen,it's not surprising to me as I saw both Viktor and Pablo play last week and they are actually quite good.

Loh dismantled Chou.
I mean, Chou need to take rest. Definitely fatigue played its part today. Nevertheless, Loh played a brilliant match

CTC lost patience when his attacks were repeatedly foiled by LKY who got a lot back but also attacked and counterattacked successfully.

A two straight-set victory for LKY. I think he's one of two favourites for the title here now.
