Im making a list of Grand slam winners in Badminton aka those who have won 3 Biggest Badminton tittles (Olympics,World Championships and World Tour Finals ) In MS I believe Axelsen, along with Sir Lin Dan and Sir Chen Long, is the only MS player to have it in WS I guess No one so far cause Miss Wang Yihan and Miss Li Xuerui miss one of the each like Miss Yihan has Oly Silver but World tittle and WTF tittle likewise Miss Xuerui misses the World Tittle despite having Oly Gold and WTF Gold. In current WS era TTY has the highest number of WTF tittles but her bad luck that she doesnt have WC or OLY tittle yet likewise Okuhara and Sindhu have won WTF tittles +World Tittles but lack the Olympic Gold and in similar fashion Carol has Olympic tittle +3 World Tittles but she misses WTF tittle. Now AY,CYF and ASY have the brighest chance to become the first WS player in the history of Badminton to ever win a Grand Slam...I see bright chances dor CYF if she wins this year then next year's WC tittle is all she needs to become the first and only WS Grand slam champ !!
I think Ratchanok is a great player but I think she has slim chance to win Oly medal in Paris. AY, HBJ, CYF, TTY, CM and ASY in my opinion have better chances. of course nothing is impossible.

If I have to put three players at Paris Podium it will be these CYF , AY and ASY and the second replaceables will be HBJ,WZY also we cant discount Pornpawee. I do think Carol and TTY can produce some good results but in all honesty I feel by Paris they wont have the stamina to stand against these younger ones. It hurts my heart to admit this cause even though the Golden group of 5 is my personal fav but it is just unmatchable to the upcming stars however having said that I dont think we will ever see such fine mix of girls as G5 who have everything from the shortest to the tallest to the fastest to the most deceptive to the most ballitic and graceful. But even I admit I would be super surprised to see either of them at Paris cause I know how good ASY,WZY and HBJ are and I didnt even even mention CYF and AY...for me 24 Medalists will be among these 5. I know that fateful day would come soon when I would be crying my eyes out cause I cant imagine WS badminton without the GG of 5 My last wish is to see Ratchanok with an Olympic medal so the whole Golden group is complete with all of them having an Olympic medal but I know it might just end up being an unfulfilled wish
AY noticed the double hit because she was the opponent. Does the umpire notice the double hit? I don't think he saw it, probably heard it. Even if he sees it, how does he know the contact was head first and then followed by the stringed area? I doubt all umpires know of this rule.
Challenge! Which are the 3 biggest titles is subjective. In your opinion, they may be Olympics, WC and WTF. I believe most players would rank All England above WTF (And most Asian players would rank Asian Games above WTF). And since you didn't write "individual" titles, I would argue that Thomas Cup ranks higher for most male players. Again, it is subjective. It depends who you ask. I would always follow players opinions in a matter like this.

Olympic is the dream for everyone as it is held only every 4 years and it is more for the glory of the country.
All 3 tittles are a joke. Olympics where you have players ranked 289 or so. WC where you have sexagenarian playing (no disrespect to her). WTF - not the best players/partnerships participating. All England is the biggest where the top 32 players compete.
I admit in the present era WTF is my "personal 3rd Major" tittle, now other fans can diagree and put some other tournament of their wish be it All England or All Malaysia open etc However, the first two ( OLY and WORLDS ) is not my personal choice is something that the Badminton legends themsleves have conceded to being their best winning memories and achievements. UNLESS You are or talking about those "Players" who have never won the Oly or WC tittle..Sour grapes I personally follow "PLAYERS' OPINIONS" myself and having written/ been read and interacted with GOATS like Miss Gao Ling,Sir Lin Dan,Miss Camilla Martin,Miss Xie Xingfang and Miss Zhang Ning, I PERSONALLY KNOW for sure which tournaments they counted as their biggest "Individual" achievements in their careers. The ones I have had the absolute honour of interacting with sadly didnt have WTF era however the Individual tittles for all of them that they cherished are either Olympic tittle or World Tittle.In Team events it has to be Thomas and Uber cup...Most of my interactions have been with Chinese legends and in China Olympics is the highest sporting event of all after which is the World championships and after that comes Thomas,Uber,Asian,Timbuktu or whaateve games you wanna put but OLY and WC cannot be compromised. Obviously if you are talking about those for whom All England is their biggest achievement then for them it will be the biggest tournament lolz.
I guess I would rather believe in the words of Legends who have themselves admitted to what their biggest achievements are.
