I am helping a small club to conduct league for 12 weeks. Let's say 20 team (pairs)players join. I start all of them with 1200 points. Divide them in 4 divisions. 5 teams per group. Using score results . Team A B C D are divided. Next week they play in corresponding grp Now how to promote or demote grp... 1. Take all points total 2. Take margins of win? 3. More points for win depending of grp like A grp wins earn 4 points 4. Reduce points for loss? Please suggest how the rating algorithm works. Also are there premade software's available?
