Not sure so fast dear.. i'm not dislike ALL malaysian player..i like Ong Ewe Hock, Tan Fook/Wan Wah, and Wong M C.. They are malay isn't?.. what i dislike was that all of you just talking about LCW.. ANd as Lin Dan Fans!! i will never agreed with you.. (b'cause..i think Lin Dan is much better..just that..sorry if i was wrong..) Ok..lets talk about MD and XD..
All the Malaysian players you mentioned above are "Chinese" not Malay. In Malaysia, all the malay guys have the muslim name such as Muhd Hafiz Bin Hashim. And Malaysian-Chinese (Rakyat Malaysia bangsa cina) they have the chinese name. This is the different between Indonesian-Chinese which don't have their chinese name. For example: Candra Wijaya. Now understand?
i will bet nathan/gail if they are on form which they are clearly showing, because they won the last few meetings between them.
Not a player, but maybe a coaches well, how about Rexy Mainanky huh?..he works for malaysia?.. if i'm not wrong, he's from indo..
now only i know they are malays.seems like i'm malay too then~ i suggest perhaps you should go for some research, know more about malaysia culture and races then only speak out things like that. in face,i hate people call me "malay".well,i'm asking for your respect
It's good to see Robertson/Emms coming back to form. The XD event is really interesting now. There are quite a number of pairs who can beat one another. Nowadays it's even more unpredictable than MS. Tracey Hallam has shown promise even before this, but she has not really broken through yet. When judging players, I tend to compare then with Wong MC, and my feeling is that she is slightly behind Wong MC. Maybe she should give up doubles to concentrate on singles.
coach is nvm but better not player but if the player wants to go there him/herself is different if the country give the player moneyfor him/her to come to the country and play for them......i totally disagree but is their decision
again, all of the players you mentioned above r 100% malaysian. m'sia citizen but chinese race. warganegara malaysia bangsa cina. 马来西亚华侨, chineschich aus Malaysia. Malay is a race ...... originally from Padang of indonesia (correct me if i'm wrong) Malaysian is citizen of malaysia. we have 3 major races in malaysia.....Malay, Chinese and Indian. clear now?
well, i don't know where the problems come from, maybe you are different channel with me,that's why you can't understand my word,or maybe you didn't wear spec and can't see my post clearly. what i said is and i have been highlight my sentences, will this make you clear? pls read twice and understand what i'm talking about. of coz i sure sir rexy is from indo and he is hired by BAM as high performance doubles coach, and i have to say that he is a very nice man.gentle, soft spoken and respect to others.
Candra is a "Chinese-Indonesian" but uses his indonesian name. This is what alloh was explaining : in Malaysia, "Chinese-Malaysians" use chinese name in Indonesia, "Chinese-Indonesians" use indonesian name clear now??
It is not easy for most people (other than Malaysians) to seperate nationality from race. If you say you are Chinese to any random person in the world, he would tend to think you are from China. Also, the difference between Malay (race) and Malaysian (nationality) is alien to most people. For instance, Hong Kong people will call you "Malai yan" (in Cantonese) rather than "Ma loi sai nga yan". Secondly, most Indonesians know by the surname "Wijaya" that he is a Chinese descendant.
yea..that's mean i like malay player..got it?.. i don't really know that LCW origin from Malay (again..i knew it from Steven..) and Padang is not race...it's kind of province (same like Sabah, Serawak, etc) Minang is a race..clear know?..
i think he still havn't found out the differences between two vocabulary"malay" and "malaysian" seems like rojak, all have been mixed up
