I will be more than welcome to have KDM to live at my place if he ever decided to come to Toronto.
And yeah, photos is a must!!!
That's like a dream..
..okay, there must be some baddy secrets/tips & tricks, which KDM shared with you, to share with us...
Btw, welcome to BC, kdm4life!
Has KDM moved out from your place? He must have done that . . . already
..KDM might be headed to cooler's cool residential place, soon...
nah, that spot is reserved for LD/XXF
Okay, no comments. That's for a different forum . . .
My stepdad is the Head Coach at the Winter Club so Kim stayed at our house for about 6 months before moving out and buying a house for him and ra, as well as there baby. To be honest, the reason I joined this site is because since I am not a badminton player (not to say I don't enjoy it though) I never knew anything about Kim. So, a few nights ago I decided to google him and this is what I saw so I thought it would be fun for me to say that I lived with him!
As for Kim, he is one of the nicest guys I know. One day when I came home from school, he gave me a new pair of shoes from yonex (the red and silver ones, about a year old now) just for free. I understand he gets them for free, but still super nice of him. As for pictures, I don't have any on this computer, but I can definetly have them next time I am in Calgary (I'm in lethbridge for the summer), so about a week or two.
Quick fact: Kim is a heck of a golfer and can drive 300+ yards easy!
As for tips and tricks, the biggest difference between Canada and Korea is time spent training, and if you screw up the coachs would beat you with sticks. No joke.
This is the best I can do for now.
Top left picture is with my stepdad (dave) and my little sister (allison). I didn't go with them on this trip to banff, so I will have to look on his website for a picture of me haha
no pics shown.
I presume that dave is dave mcmaster, right? I think i have seen that pic before. I think it was taken at lake louise
..it's in the Photo Gallery section..Yep, at Lake Louise & yes, i also have seen that pic before..

Yeah its Do ave McMaster. I just found that photo on Kims website, I'll look for some of him just hanging out at home. Even though I didn't really understand the signifigance of him living at my house, it was still sweet because hes such a nice guy and I love golfing with him too because he is so good. Not to mention he showed me what Korean BBQ is like.... heaven. Also we get unreal service at the restaurant we go to. To bad I spent my life playing football instead of badminton, big waste of coaching.
Are you really trying to act so matter of fact. We are all actually very jealous of you!!! How amazing!!! You are very, very lucky.
If, by now, it hasn't dawned on you that a living legend lives in your house, it never will
Haha well if it makes you feel any better the next time I'm in calgary I'm giving kim a call and we are playing some badminton! Never to late to make up for lost time!
You really should, not many people could get a change to hit a few rallies with the Olympic Champs.
Sorry but I am really jealous.
yo, are u allen??? kuz i cant remember anyone else who kim stayed with
btw. its matt c
wow kdm4life should really start playing badminton since you are so close to KDM.
thanks for sharing your experiences.
If KDM was living at my house, i would spend all night learning skills from him.
I didnt know KDM was good at golf too.?
