We did gang up on him but he was in the right position for most of the time . So, it was tactically correct to hit to him .

Hi All Since everyone knows who Kitty is, I may as well introduce myself also. I'm her ailing partner. I think Pete LSD can attest to the number of times I made it to VRC last year due to injuries . I think he saw me there more times watching games than actually playing. I'm hoping to change that this year. Thought I would join in this discussion since I haven't been on this forum for ages. Damn! Too bad I missed Kitty and her partner on Sunday. Too much baddy over Saturday night-Sunday morning. I was simply too tired from last session to make it to Collingwood. Also had a slight cold too. Anyway, will you be making Collingwood a regular session, Kitty? Yeah, agreed with SchrodingerCat... you shouldn't have to worry too much about backcourt power in mixed doubles.

Hi Cappy75! Ya, too bad I missed you at Collingwood too. Oyaji didn't make it to Collingwood so you didn't miss him. I got what I wanted....played some ladies and mixed double games and yes, I'll try to make it a regular session! Hope cold gets better soon and I'll see you in the gym next time! It is a friendly environment and and Break-My-Strings almost knew right away who I am. If not for my red T-shirt reflection on my face, he must have noticed me blushing! (and thanks BMS for all the running around when teaming with me , as well as the tips on steaming shuttles!)
From your earlier posts, I knew sooner or later you would show-up! It was a matter of guessing how "young" you may look. I hope you guys had some good games and an opportunity to mix it up with some of the regulars. When I played played XD with you, I didn't mind running around, in fact, I was trying to get ready for the Washington Open this weekend (don't worry, this Sunday Collingwood is still a go, I have someone helping me to organize it). I was training with my doubles partner so I didn't get to watch, but how was your ladies doubles match? tough..easy? Cheers!
Hey Kitty, Thanks for asking! Felt alot better after a much needed rest on sunday. Anyway, it's hard to miss you or any new people cuz Collingwood has a very close core group of regulars. Good thing about Collingwood is that the bunch can always give a good game and friendly to boot too. Definitely a very hard combo to come by. I am glad that you had fun. Hopefully we'll catch you again next Sunday!
I finally got to meet the famous Kitty tonight! I had no idea who she was until tonight, and it turns out I've known her partner for a year already. What a small world. Thanks for the games Kitty, we'll get those guys next time (I won't fool around so much)!
Yes, we mixed up our games with the regulars...which is nice! In another community centre drop-in that I've been to, players are less open to play with newcomers ! Ladies games were good, perfect level for me.... Lots of good laughs ! Good luck on your Washington Open!
