Hi, I was just given this racket to restring by a friend and am unconvinced it’s genuine. He says he got it from china and cost about £60, on the hologram sticker it has sunrise and genuine. As I haven’t held one before I can’t compare it, thanks.

Its 100% fake, just from the serial number high end racket serial number + date of manufacturer are etched into the metal not painted.

So usually for this fake racket, the maximum tension is around 26lbs any higher the frame is vulnerable (I tested fake yonex rackets)

Let me know if you have any concerns, cheers!

    EDIT: 24lbs not 26lbs.

Thanks, he did say he wasn’t too bothered if it was fake as he still likes the racket
