From XXF's blog Beijing, I’m back again I just went back to Beijing two days ago. This is because many of our players have registered for the Denmark Open and France Open. Although we were supposed to play in the National Open in Suzhou, our top singles have returned to get ready for the international tournament. Our Guangdong team won the national games this time; so it seems that we are still a strong team – feel happy for us! However, it is hard to say who will grab the titles for the individual’s matches. From our past experience, it isn’t easy even for our national team players to win a title in the country. The young players in several provinces are very strong and capable; which is why we might lose a match against them if we don’t perform well. Many world champions from our country are not national champions; yet national champions may not be able to become a world champion either. This is the weird thing about it and we have not found a reason why. So, what I have been busy doing these days? I’ve been following the team back to Beijing for trainings and preparations. We have been going to many places for all the different activities previously, and gosh that was tiring! I’m most afraid of being caught in an airstream on the plane. It really jolts me that I could have got a heart attack. Why do we always meet huge jolts when we are about to land in Beijing? The weather in Beijing has improved a lot after the Olympic Games but it seems that it isn’t enough; we shall still work harder to make it better. I am now training my stamina in Beijing too, mainly to heal my strength a little. I think I will not be playing in the Denmark Open and France Open this time so there will be no plans for me besides my regular trainings. I’ll inform all of you if there are any changes.
