i have tried silicone heel cups, but the thickness bring uneveness on my footing thus muscular pull on the arch area and further pain on the arch bone. Its too troublesome to adjust the heel cups as its moved inside the shoes during the game when u do jumping smashes often.
I tot Mizuno shoes are always design with much lower/thinner padding which allows you to feel your footing on every step you took which translate to foot work speed, however this compromise on the footing support due to lack of padding.
If you are right handed I would say it's because with proper foot work your right foot is should be "launching you" from one point of the court to the other, therefore more pressure is placed on your right foot.
