I hope Chan/Chew make it though, they deserve a break after so many problems. Sigit is a little too arrogant for me. His Indon fans called out to him the last time but he just ignored them as if they were dirt. Candra is a far nicer chap and better player.

One other explanation has been spotted by Kwun. Choon Hann may not want to peak so early, as he wants the Olympics, and losing to Hafiz is beneficial as well as this will help Hafiz's quest in entering Olyimpics.

    Or..

He could be just playing crap and Hafiz has suddenly rediscovered his form.

    sigit/trikush took 1st set 15-2!!

Halim/candra struggling 9-2 down in second. I wonder if sigit/candra are looking at each other. wondering..what if?

14-3 hafiz now, seems almost a result.

    Bach/han lost 1st set 15-11 7-2 down in second.

On the sheet, it says that Marleve Mainaky is playing with robert Blair in the doubles.

    1.Is simon archer injured (Again)
2.Marleve is becoming quite a traveller (representing switzerland for singles, England for doubles (the connection maybe rexy mainaky, our doubles coach-but not his relation..i think)

    Any one have any news?

By the way they are winning 17-15, 11-2.

only country with 3 players or more in the top 16 cd send the max of 3 representations to the olympics. so far, only chn and den achieved ths... malaysia has 2 in the top 16 (lee chong wei is in 11th plc bt absent frm AE, wong ch is 4th), hence it mks sense if players in the lower ranking perform better and gain valuable points to make it to the top 16. roslin and hafiz are the best next placed m'sians (yeoh kay bin is 1 plc abv hafiz bt thr wont be any outings for him in the coming tourneys).

i hate to talk abt match fixing, bt the score line of 3-15, 3-15 is simply too....... maybe wong ch is injured or maybe not... my worthlez 2 cts..

I would think so since normally you would talk to the coach before you ask someone from a different country to play with. And normally the flag will be combined ENG/SUI, but this time it's under England only....strange...unless.....

Marleve is Rexy's brother and out of 7 kids in the Mainaky family, 5 of them become good badminton players.

Rexy - coach in England, world's best with Ricky Subagja.
Marleve - key to Indonesia's win at last Thomas Cup
Karel & Reony play for Japanese clubs after PBSI "abandon" them
Richard - still coaching for PBSI, he's the only Mainaky who wants to stay in Indonesia

Does anybody know the scoreline between Chen Yu's match against Stanislav Pukhov?? It was a pity Chen had to play against Wu YunYong in the first round....
