Hi, I just realized my Ti-10 long has no serial numbers. Att he base of the shaft, and near the top of the handle (plastic part) it has a Yonex hologram Genuine Sticker and a PBSI color marking on the other side. On the bottom of the handle, just says Made in Japan and the Yonex logo in white, with a green background.

Is that real or fake? I've bene using it for 6 months and love it.

    Thanks,

    Elmo

    woah..the pics are HUGE....

anyways, from taking a look at the pics..the racket shows signs of the racket being genuwine.... however, i do have some doubts..looking at the cone, that's the only part of the racket that makes me believe it MIGHT be a fake...it just doesn't look right to me...is the cone on the ti 10 virtically all around roundish? (i don't own a ti 10 and haven't looked at one for a long time so it's slipped my mind..)..where's the g4, g3, etc..weight recommendation sticker? did you remove it?...

it'd be best though to get some opinions of ppl that own ti 10s to compare them with the one in the pics.

it'd be more helpful too if the pics were smaller and a littler clearer...

The weight designation is on the first picture. It's kinda upsidedown in that picture because i took the ipcture of the racquet that way. It is 3U G5 .

    I'll try get smaller/clearer pics.

I'll be so bumbed if this is a fake. It's the best racquet i've played with :( I'm thinking on the real side, but i'm reading all yonex racquets have serial numbers? This one doesn't

    Please help,

    Elmo

peel off that hologram sticker. my guess is there are engraved serial numbers there.

you still need to answer the question on where you bought the racket.

everything looks good to me. the Ti-10 cone is round-ish with flat faces on either side

Bought my racquet from Ebay from a guy in Canada. This was a year and half ago.

The head of my racquet is definitely ISometric, NOT oval. I peeled off the Yonex Genuine sticker, but no serial number underneath it :(

Now i'm not feeling too good :(

Why does mine not have a serial?

Should I send it to Yonex and have them look at it??

I would rather pay a small fee and know for sure if this is fake or genuine. It's just sad i found out about this now, i love this racquet, but i'm not sure if its real or fake.

Any way if i can weigh it? I'm bumbed.

i'm not sure if you can POSITIVELY determine whether it's a fake or not..it does look real...kwun said the cone is supposed to be roundish..and it does look like it has flat faces..the only thing that stumps me is the serial...but like i mentioned above..the cone just doesn't look right to me...the G5 3U sticker just doens't look like it's in the right position..and it doesn't have the weight recommendations...i dunno

Do you know if there are Yonex certified places in Washington? or somewhere i can ship my racquet to? I still cant' believe this. Haha, now i can't sleep!!

I need to find out if this is real or fake.

Thanks. Kwun says the cone is roundish with flat faces on either side, mine does have flat faces on two sides (opposite) and roundish in betweens.

    Elmo 18,

Hard to tell you, but I think your racket is the fake one :(
I am sure that a racket without serial number is not Yonex Genuine.
Why I am so sure ???
Because I have bought several fake rackets with the same characteristic as yours.
And I knew they are fake when I bought them.

According to the seller, the fake racket come from Taiwan. But he did say from which factory.
But I have heard that several years a go, there was a local factory in Taiwan which got a right from Yonex Japan to make some badminton rackets.
Yonex 'fired' this factor and took his right back because of fraud.
But this factory still make badminton racket with the other brand (trade mark).
Could/May be that the fake rackets come from this factory. But I am not 100% sure.

If you paid not more than 50% of the genuine price, I think it is fair, don't you ?

Anyway, I enjoy to play with these fake rackets. Ofcouse there is a difference between the real and the fake. But I am not a profesional player, so I don't mind.

Ok here they are, I found one bit of surprise when i looked at the Ti-10s online and mine.

First off, these are much clearer i think of MY racquet.

Ok now, in the fifth picture, I can see that on MY racquet the word Titanium Mesh Composite starts right at the SECOND grommet (past the darker gray area). Now in this next photo, it seems like it starts right next to the gray area. This one is taken off the Product Review forum page of Ti-10

    Now I'm stumped.

    Thanks,

    Elmo
