Do you think any women have tried competing in mens regional level?

    I understand that the mens division is an open division.

    And I understand that there are often rules along the lines of that if you compete at a certain level you aren't allowed to compete at a lower level.

    Have any women badminton players tried skipping the international stage,and entering into just regional tournaments in the mens/open division?

    In clubs from time to time there's regional level women competing with the half decent club level men and being better than most of the club level mens players.
