seems that something wrong with CHN WD and XD

China sent 4 WD , not 6,, 2 in semi final,, 1 in final,, and 1 is the winner....

please check the WD and XD for CHINA again..
btw,,, it's verry nice statistic,,,, really interesting...thank you....

your question can be answered without statistical analysis. it's so obvious that LCW and WSX both pocketed 30 grand for grabbing the singles title. No others could earn more than that unless there was one got 2 titles.

Noted. So, does it mean that both BAM and CBA do NOT partake in the winning prize? I am more concerned for the money deposited in their banks, and not the displayed cheques :)

30k is just a very small potato. few've been really interested in the prize until this korea open. only this korea open kind of accurately rewards the players for their efforts. That's the reason CHN players skipped so many SS, including many year grand slams final.

now the home price reached over 60k per sqmeter, that money can only buy 30 square meters. So the prize itself is nothing, but it reflects the achievement which more than the prize money.

typo, it should be only 3 square meters. The super series title prize can only buy 3 square meters home space. That's a pity.

Okay. It took a while to understand the table.

The title should be "Prize Money Collected by Country at Malaysia Open 2011".

Yeah, the better question is which individual won the most after the MS and WS singles winner. The answer would be Tian Qing (more than 23k) if we assume that the doubles pairs split their winnings equally. If she had won the XD event also, she would be the biggest winner.
