Just got a message from Steen Pedersen.

Jonassen got a pulled muscle on the back of the thigh in the match against Lin Dan.

owww! did it happen in the middle of a match or towards the end? if the former, he must've suffered a good deal.. during the game
'spitty then.. i imagined he'd have a good chance against lindan.

Darren Hall commented on the amount of promotional work Nathan and Gail have been doing although not sounding dissaproving "It's a once in a life time chance" I think he was being mindfull of this being the first tournament since the Olympics.

Nathan broke three or four rackets and in the end played the last two points with what looked like Yonex MP77 or old colour MP88.

The last 5-6 points looked like Nathan and Gail were just not trying (Nathan in particular) but the racket thing took it's toll on him mentally as he continually mentioned it after the match in the interview.

Anyway Jonas and Lars are playing and it's 8-8 in the first.
