INA Vs NZ today?? will it be unfair for INA players as they hv just consumed their energy on CHN players yesterday??

btw, can't wait to see MAL Vs Aus (UC).

    Thanks for the update.

Thomas Cup (2.30pm - indo time)
    Thailand vs England
-- Interesting because a bit of an unknown, to me at least. Boonsak should win, Thai's second pair should also win. First doubles match is world-class, and the English are on-form. Second and third singles are unknown. I reckon Thailand
will go through. If it's true, just goes on to show just how much English badminton has dropped.

    Japan vs South Africa
    -- Japan, hands down.

    Uber Cup
    Holland vs South Africa
    -- Holland, hands down.

    Germany vs Indonesia
-- Germany start as favourites, but cannot underestimate the Indons.

Thomas Cup (7pm - indo time)
    Germany vs USA
-- Germany to win, but perhaps not 5-0.

    Indonesia vs New Zealand
-- no need to delay the flight back to New Zealand, the most unbalanced tie today.

    Uber Cup
    Malaysia vs Australia
-- Both my heart and mind tells me that Malaysia will win this one, although the rankings may prove otherwise. I've been hearing this Lenny Permana name a lot recently, and she will be the only hurdle for Malaysia. Good to see how Malaysia's second pair and third singles players fare against opponents more inferior than those of Japan and Denmark.

    Japan vs Canada
    -- Japan, hands down

INA is playing today (and others not) because they have to play an extra quarterfinal stage for being 2nd in their group. but as mentioned, it will be an easy stage but they must win despite so.

Haha...bet the kiwis are hoping for that so they can beat the c**p out of the INA if they field this lineup, which show no "face" to the kiwis. On a serious note, I doubt very much INA will tinker with NZL. Imagine if the unthinkable happen and INA lose......oops. :D

I doubt the coaches will try fancy combinations. If the unthinkable happens and New Zealand wins, the Indonesian players (and maybe the New Zealand players as well) will have very short lifespans.

Loosing to a badminton power like China is one thing, unwanted but not unexpected. Loosing to the weakest or second weakest team is another. Heck, even the under 21 Indonesian team should be able to beat New Zealand 5-0.

ronk, agreed with you. I don't see INA coaches tinkering much except to field the strongest team crushing NZL, restoring confidence to players and faith to the home crowd. I know this does not account much, but after the drubbing by CHN I think the INA need someone to vent their frustrations on...poor NZL.
MAL/INA will be another sizzling matches to watch. Only if CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) televise badminton...maybe they will if they know what is badminton!! :p

If China were to meet Denmark in this tournament, it would be on Sunday.
