Let Me tell you what happened. the MALAYSIAN CROWD AND SUPPORTERS HAPPENED :)

Watching it live was truly memorable and the encouragement of the crowd and the support pushed OSH/ HTH to win. They were playing their own game and a great defense led them to win.

I was there...unbelievable. LYD looked exhausted somehow. Possibly from the XD.
He was try really hard though especially for the rubber set.
The 2nd set was a giveaway.
Some questionable calls by the line judges didn't help to keep their emotions in check.
Even the coach was about to go argue with the umpire already.
Overall...fantastic match. One of the best ever...nothing beats seeing and underdog beating world champions :)
But a bit sad not to be able to see more of LYD and JJS though.
    Bitter sweet lar

And by that statement alone, you already put the hex on KKK/TBH :p

Impressive win indeed for the MAS pair, but is the rumor true about LYD/JJS being at the other end of "patriotic" calls?

No LD...now no mo Taufik and LYD & JJS..

..not a surprise actually. If one has followed his trend, the likelihood of him winning a rubber game is no more than 30%. Against a player like JOJ's caliber, it would decrease to no more 20%.
..thanks for sharing your account. I bet you and the other BCers were sitting on the edge of your seat..;)

^^They caught them at the right time..^^

..consider also LYD and JJS have been playing XD as well since last week's Korea Open..
If OSH/HTH can beat them again, the next time they meet, then it'll really be a major upset..

too bad, i have to leave around 4 pm yesterday,
watched the demolitions of most MAS players and cannot stay until evening
anyway this morning, when i saw the headline of Star papers, saying that LYD/JJS is out then i know that my favourite player HTH and partner OSH beat them.....:D:D:D really make my day...
but of course is still too early....hopefully not a roller-coaster ride from them...

    U r right..
JJS-LYD is not even the World CHampions. They lost to Fu Haifeng-Cai Yun last year.

But anyway, it's great to have a back-up pair beating the mighty Koreans

    actually
there is only 2 questionable line call
but lee/jung is not lost by those call
they even score a few points after the questionable line call when hoon/ong made unforce error
anyway, lee, jung is lost because they cannot break tru hoon/ong defence
it is either lee/jung smash is not that hard,or hoon/ong have a great defence
lee, jung didnt score more than 5 from smashes

Yup. agree. it was such an entertaining match though yesterday. Like a roller coaster ride.
In fact, in most part of the match, the linejudge got teased kau kau:p

the questionable line call as what limsy said cause the korean coach to stand up and call for the tournament referee to come, but then ended up nothing.

At the end of the match, most of the audience throw water bottle to the next court:D:rolleyes: what a shame

chai/zhang and cai yun/FHF have wore out lyd/jjs in KO:p
lyd/jjs played 100% both matches, a must win for them in KO or korea lose
face for not winning any title at home. Pressure is very high.
Recovery time is also not enough for them.
