When i see this, it reminds me of LiXuerui injury which coincides against Marin as well.

LXR was able to stand but i think she was stretchered after that. I hope its just a ligament strain and not ligament break.

To be honest , i am man and i think thats ZhangNan's fault. Ever since then , how many titles did he win. Hok kai.

But not many people can have ending like Natsir did

Badminton Denmark and their national team players were on a scuffle regarding sponsorship deals etc(which are unknown). Players were thrown out of national team and Badminton Denmark announced second stringers as their national team.

All the National level players including Victor Axelsen started travelling on their own spending their own money on tournaments.
But now, it seems they all came to an agreement which is a good news indeed.

I don't think so. By then it has kind of resolved.

Anyway, this is for Natsir's farewell not Ahmad/Natsir's. Indonesia appreciated Natsir more than CHN ever appreciated any of their players, except LD. I think..

I think so. They will never change the venue unless something happen to Istora.
Last time they used a different one because Istora was under renovation at that time, or so I heard.

Too many good CHN players so their achievements are insignificant which is sad even though imo, ZYL is the one achieved the most in the current era. Even her is underappreciated.

Oh well AhmadNatsir only won once in Istora.

At least they won IndonesiaOpen last year..

Theres almost always bad luck when they try to win tight matches there. They had better luck in Tianhe arena which is weird lol.

more likely it will be ZYL/TA vs ZN/LN given the relationship breakdown between ZN n ZYL :p

My thinking is the same with you but I don't dare to mention of Li. It's quite sensitive.

I remember that Sato (Unisys club) also get this kind of injury when landing with 1 leg. It really affected to their playing career.

For sure she will miss AllEngland but yeah, we will miss a character and fighter.

One can say if she have lost yesterday (Deuce) match in G3, she wouldnt have been injured today.

    Bad Luck

Also Marin is from Spain its not so much about the Olympic Qualification like she thinks. if she rest well even if she plays next year, she will still play in Olympic representing Spain.

ZYL isn't underappreciated come on. She has won everything there is to win. Arguably even better than LN. Ofcourse the longevity in Natsir's career is second to none but ZYL imo was the most threatening Front court player and don't think anyone matching it from the current gen.
TQ however, I believe she was underappreciated and her retirement was also rather shocking and premature, not to mention WXL and the young TYT

I just hope its not as hard of an injury as LXR's and just a strain cause if anything is torn or ruptured then It would be so hard to see her back like we are used to seeing her.

    I hope she recovers soon.

However I don't think SN has anything to do with it, yes she's one of the "smart" players who can play reasonably good shots even out of uncomfortable positions, which can result in catching the opponent off guard.

CM was just trying to play a jump round the head steep smash from front court it's her's and PVS's "routine" shot, taking height advantage.
It was just a bad landing and months of accumulated fatigue
