Australian Commonwealth Youth Games Squad Australian Commonwealth Youth Games Squad (presented at 2004 Kawasaki Australian International, Sydney) (thanks to Maz for photo)
The picture isn't very clear... I can't make out who is in the Commonwealth Youth Squad. Can anyone name them?
Sure (L-R): Erin Carroll (VIC), Leisha Cooper (WA), Erica Pong (VIC), Eva Ratanasena (NSW), Raymond Tam (NSW), Jeff Tho (VIC), Glenn Warfe (VIC), Chad Whitehead (SA)
Erm... is Julian Anthony too old for the squad? And whats happened to Sporti Rattan - winner of last year's u19 LS?
Actually, I was also confused over the criteria over selection...I know for a fact that Julian Anthony is certainly NOT too old for the squad since Glenn Warfe & Eva Ratanasena have also been selected, but could anyone enlighten us on how the squad was selected? As for Spoorti Rattan, she is in Year 12 (HSC exams coming up!!!), and has not participated in many (if any at all) tournaments this year. According to her dad, she is working very hard on her studies, but will continue playing in the future.
Anyone know what countries are participating in the badminton event? I know that England and Scotlan are sending squads.
julian anthony hasnt been playing.. injured apparently.. and tiger chens from WA and was in the squad.. hes real good
