    See Page 2 of this document. Malaysia has an IC and a GPG in addition to the SS. Korea used to have an IC in addition to their SS but last year it changed to a GP and this year it will be GPG. New Zealand had a cancelled GP (GPG?) last year but this year has only an IC. Japan has a SS and an IC, just like Korea used to have and like Denmark will have this year.

    Basically if you have SS then now you can have GP or GP Gold plus IC for each country except for china who has 2 SS which many countries question BWF's rule why only China can have 2 SS...

    Not only 2 SS, you can see in BWF rules, in T-shirt can have maximun 3 advertising but many years recently, I found that they have 4-5 advertising, I thing they are strong team, many good players and and force to BWF to give them an advantage....

    @Chris-ccc: Yes, the article is right but "why he is now competing on bigger tours"? just because the bigger tour will may bring more points to him and his rank may higher, with VN IC, it make no sense to his rank even he take the title because there is only 4,000 points for champion.

    The World Top 16 players/pairs should participate only in SS and GP tournaments......

    .
    Well, this is only my opinion;

    The World Top 16 players/pairs should participate only in SS and GP tournaments. This would give our lower ranked players a chance to do well at lower tournaments; otherwise they will be discouraged to enter in future tournaments.
