Quite possible actually, but you'll have to keep looking out for warehouse sales. I got my Head racket for RM89 pre-strung...normal price about RM150-170. I remember seeing Jusco sports section selling Gosen rackets for RM100 during sale.

Someone in this thread mentioned Yonex Nanospeed 100, you could easily get that for RM140-ish from most typical sports outlets.

Probably you'll need to top up another RM50 to the budget to get access to most entry level rackets.

victor rackets are just as expensive as yonex's....
last week i went to far east victor sdn bhd which is victor's distributor in Malaysia.....
i asked them how much MX80 and it's RM600 after discount....
    same goes to MX60, 70....
    that's even to VTZF's price.....
now i think the difference between them just colour and feel....
yeah, RM100 for a racket that is as good as high end is impossible....
but to find a decent racket is not impossible....
four days ago i bought apacs nano 900 power for RM100...
i strung it with BG85 at 25x27lbs and tried it over an hour.....
of course it's not as good as my VT70 but decent enough to be my back-up racket.....
good enough for a school student.....

o.o...vt9 got my attention, but it's quite expensive right? around 200 in my country(just an aprox) I wish it's forgiving

An Proace racket got my attention there, there is no outlet selling apacs racket here :crying:, it's a bright/shiny orange colour racket, any idea on it? my friend own it and i asked for the location but he says he forgot-ed, too bad

i bought the RKEP racket Pro6000 and9000 from Eric, they are very good rackets but i am not sure if the price would be around RM100. if you go to RKEP thread, you can see the review.

i agree, you really gotta have patience and wait if your budget is that tight. nanospeed 100 or carbonex 8600ti seems to be good choices. nanospeed80 if you must save even a few dollars, but i have the nano80, horrible feel for me. maybe i'm just too used to full graphite rackets now. and since nano80 or muscle power 7 has an aluminum head frame, the feeling is just plain weird!

Why buy a very cheap yonex when you can buy a good quality apacs or head racket that plays so much better?

i only talked about yonex because that's all i know, and a few other brands, but if there's a brand of rackets of the same price but better quality, then by all means, make that purchase, and i would like to know too so i can try out different brands of rackets that are more cost efficient :)

well ultimately the best suggestion we can give you is to try out as many rackets as you can so you can make a sound decision. :)

well, if your budget is just around RM100, it cant be helped....
with RM100, the best yonex racket you can get is Carbonex 8000 and entry level Isometric.....
those are very basic rackets in yonex which i think others like apacs', RKEP and etc are still better choice for rackets under RM100.....
people dont look what brand are you using, but how you play....

Yes there is no point asking people's opinion on rackets if you aren't willing to try rackets you haven't used before.
