Tien Minh is modest about his achievement! After the match he said that the victor today because of lucky and he must exert much more to reach another success!:)

I had rooted for Uncle WCH to win the 2009 YCTO means’ singles title but this was not to be as NTM was too good for him. He played a tactical match with low, flat returns, explosive smashes, excellent net plays and didn’t give WCH many chances to attack as he did against TH in his semi-final match. NTM is really a ‘dynamo’ and he has won two grand-prix titles so far this year and I can see him going on to win the super-series titles. Had WCH not been stretched to three games by TH, he might have a chance against NTM but I really doubt this.

yep, a well deserved victory once again for NTM of Vietnam:)
as usual, his energetic on court and all of his hardwork and powerful smashes makes him a winner today;)

yes, it's great to see NTM having a decent attacking game. He had none a year ago. What a difference that makes. He might be in the top 6 MS with this second title. Wow, what a victor!
Disappointing for WCH but he can be proud of his gallant efforts. Keep thinking creatively about tactics, WCH.

    Hmm...to be specific..

..Mona is not part of or representing the U.S. National team/squad/association. She only plays using USA as the country of her representation..
Btw, a bit surprised to see her & Vita made it to the Finals..
..if one splits them up, the QF & Semis threads will each have less than 57 pages. Heck, we can join all of the CHN Taipei Open threads into one and we'll have more than 100 pages of thread..
