A comprehensive victory by WSX, 21-12, in G2 . WSX is still able to use her deceptive game coupled with wide experience to put the young punks and greenhorns in their places, Chen Xiaoxin yesterday, and today Wang Zhiyi, both promising youngsters, about18 years old.

It reminds me of how Intanon used all her trick shots, though not new to us, to bamboozle CXX at the WC, similarly for WSX. These inexperienced young ones still have a lot to learn.

    G1, 21-19 to Jiangsu, HBJ/TJH.

Just now heard the lady commentator (forgot her name) saying we often see He Bingjiao panting when playing singles but less so now in doubles. Makes me wonder if she might consider switching to doubles.

She also added, HBJ is a smart, thinking player with a wide repertoire of strokes and creative, but just as error-prone in doubles as in singles.

I'm wondering if HBJ continues to languish in WS for her fitness/stamina issues, she might want to seriously consider playing WD or XD.

Earlier, after the WSX match, she was asked by the interviewer if she would return to the national team and she answered she is not sure and added now that there are many young junior players coming up, it would be a good idea to give them more opportunities.

Though she didn't outright rule out the possibility, I doubt she will seriously consider making a comeback as in the previous interview, she said this CNG would be her last and final tournament before retiring for good. Even Chen Long acknowledged that this CNG tournament is the last time they will be playing together.

I'm surprised there is no break between the team and individual events, the latter will begin tomorrow, Monday, 4th Sep

HBJ playing WS well, but I can see her breathing a bit hard after G1, 21-10.

Even the commentator is now talking about HBJ's concern, saying it's her stamina problem.

The tired-looking HBJ still playing well, attacking with efficiency.

She added by saying, if HBJ is fitter she is an outstanding player
