On the World Championship, I hope BWF should emulate Wimbledon. Instead of winners of the game taking 2 out of 3 sets, it should be 3 out of 5 sets. Make it a bit longer. Obviously, the prize rewards should doubles. Just an opinion though.

I agree with the article. It's a bit harsh on the whole admin side of international badminton, which is always tricky but really... the prestige of the World Championships really is lost when it is held every year. Whenever the commentators say "former world champion" about a particular player/pair, there isn't really the same wow-factor as "former Olympic champion" or "reigning Olympic champions". Since this tournament is sandwiched between and run exactly ike other Super Series tournaments I really don't see the big deal. I agree with avionics who said that they should make the matches harder and therefore make the title worth holding.
There's nothing wrong with having a World Championship every year. A lot of sports have it. It should mean more than other event's as all the best players in the world gather once a year to compete in this one event. There is always a few top players missing from SS events. Maybe double the money on WC compare to SS? Nothing can complete with Olympics though as it's only once /4 years and you get to hear your national anthem. AE should be a step below WC.
