    Thanks for updating regularly SmartCivet!

Its good that at least 3 malaysian players have made it to the last 16. Goo Wong Choong Hann, Lee Tsuen Seng and Lee Chong Wei!! :)

Hmm..wonder who will win..Chen Hong or Peter Gade?

    here's my prediction

CHEN Hong vs GADE Peter 50/50 very equal, Peter is on the way back and Chen is not 100%

BAO Chunlai vs BOESEN Anders 75/25 Bao is favourite

HU Yun(CHN) vs WONG Choong Hann 20/80 dont know the chinese player

CHEN Yu vs NG Wei 60/40 Chen Yu has the advantage but NG also has a chance

LIN Dan vs LEE Tsuen Seng 80/20 with Lin Dans recent form he should win

XIA Xuanze vs LEE Chong Wei 55/45 equal match here. Xia is not in form and Lee is a big talent

ZHU Weilun(CHN) vs PARK Tae Sang 50/50 an equal match

WU Yunyong vs HARIYANTO * Agus 70/35 Wu stands the best chance here

is this correct or totally wrong??

nice job, cannot agree more. So your final 8 are:
Wu YY; Xia XZ; Lin D; Chen Y; Wong CH; Bao CL; CH/PG; ZW/PTS

But for making the topic hotter, here is my 2 cents:

Xia XZ vs Lee CW: 45.0% vs 55.0%

I can;t give Peter 50/50 against Chen Hong. 60/40 is more accurate.

Heard that Lee CW plays a tricky game. This may be the right game against Xia. My guess is Lee CW has the theoretical advantage. Remember Xia always had problems with another tricky player called Hendrawen.;)

WU Yunyong vs HARIYANTO * Agus 60/40

Chen Hong vs Peter Gade: 50/50 on this match becos chen is still recovering from his injury rite? and i read that he is not in form. Gade is also climbing back up!

BAO Chunlai vs BOESEN Anders: 80/40 Bao is definately the favourite here, and he is a very good player so my bet is on him in this match.

HU Yun(CHN) vs WONG Choong Hann: 30/85 Wong Choong Hann should be able to win this match..however Hu Yun could win as well..

CHEN Yu vs NG Wei: 70/30 Although Ng has a chance..he will have a hard time beating chen yu nevetheless. In my opinion i think Chen Yu will win.

LIN Dan vs LEE Tsuen Seng: 80/25 Sad to say i think Lin Dan's gonna take this match because of his form so far..unless a miracle happens..

XIA Xuanze vs LEE Chong Wei: 45/50 Its gonna be very close! Lee can pull it off if Xia continues to be not in form.

ZHU Weilun(CHN) vs PARK Tae Sang: Hmm..not sure actually..50/50 i guess.

WU Yunyong vs HARIYANTO * Agus: 70/40 Wu is probably going to win against Hariyanto.

I noticed that XXZ struggled mightily against Kenevic from Philippines. Has anyone seen Kenevic in action before?

Also noticed that high profile Chen Jin crashed to Hu Yun. China's talent is just endless.

Actually, according to the latest Chinese national ranking, Hu Yun is ranked 7th within Chinese internal games, while Chen Jin is the 8th. So it is not an upset that Hu beat Chen

Gong WJ, who won the 1st round, lost to Lin D, is ranked 10th.

ZHU Weilun, who beat 8th seed Kaldau, and Yeoh Kay Bin, and advanced to the final 16, is ranked 12th.

Li Yu, who lost to Wong CH, is ranked 27th.

Wei Nan, who lost to Ong YH, is ranked 31st.

Zhao ZY, who lost to Lee CW, is ranked 50th.

Xie Xin is number 9 which means that Gade's victor was not a fluke.

Wow, I'm very surprised the past two predictions have put Lee TS either at 50-50 or winning against Lin D. Lin is without a question China's top MS at the moment (winning 2 major GPs in a short span) while Lee is not enjoying nearly the same success currently.

    My picks:

CHEN Hong vs GADE Peter 60:40

BAO Chunlai vs BOESEN Anders 80:20

HU Yun(CHN) vs WONG Choong Hann 35:65

CHEN Yu vs NG Wei 65:35

LIN Dan vs LEE Tsuen Seng 70:30

XIA Xuanze vs LEE Chong Wei 50:50

ZHU Weilun(CHN) vs PARK Tae Sang 55:45

WU Yunyong vs HARIYANTO * Agus 60

    Lee CW it's like 4 in 1...

he can play net... he can drive... he can lob.. and he can smash...... ..what i mean is.. he's good in almost every aspect of the game....... ..

that's what i read or heard... if remembered correctly.....
