Did you upgrade to 1.0.9.7 ? I found a world of difference from when I was using 1.0.9.6 ! By that I mean the two-day old one didn't work and the day-old one did. I get the impression that a lot of the upgrades with these stream-sharing programs are crucial.

when i click on ???? guangdong sports link I get the response Synacast not a registered protocol.. Do I have to download Synacast to get the stream? CCTV 5 works fine by only using windows media player.

I can use the link. I have PPLive installed and can use the link even when PPLive is not running. Can your browser handle the encoding on the name in Chinese(广东体育)? Can you just find it on the list on this page?

    http://pplive.com/source.shtml

As long as you have the language support installed, you should be able to just do a text search on that page. There are sometimes 3 pages of channels in the list though. Yesterday GDTV was on page 2. Right now, I see it on the first page.

Alternatively, you may also want to give SopCast a try. It doesn't have nearly the # of channels that PPLive does, but you'll find CCTV5, ESPN and ESPN Star (HK) amongst them. Guangdong Sports occasionally show up on the list, but it didn't last night. I watched some of BCL/SS and XXZ/CJ matches on CCTV5.

    KJ vs chen jin 8-0

point doesnt show that chen jin is playing pretty good.
kj is very persistent and consistence so far

    now, 8-2 for kj

    now 9-4 for kj

cj lost points mostly from hitting out by 1 inch

cj's shirt has his name printed on this time

    10-6 for kj now

look like cj is warmed up now;)

10-8 for kj, cj's smashes are fast and sharp now

10-10 now, kj is running and diving all over the court now

11-10 for cj now, great digs

13-10 for cj now, cj is playing very smartly

14-10 for cj, kj serving. both playing fast and accurate

    cj got the serve back

game 1 for cj. what a comeback. Cj smashes became sharp and accurate after midway of the game

    game 2

cj up 2-0 with lot of hard work toward a final jumpsmash -boom
every inch of court is used, good mix of clear drive, net and smashes
    worth watching it;)

    whooaaaaa cj 5-0

    cj 6-0

    gulp, cj 7-0

    bow to cj, 8-0 now

shake head, cj 9-1 now. kj got a point from a deceptive ultra sharp cross court bh

on long rallies, cj won most of them, frustrating kj

    unbelievable, cj now 12-1

cj 13-1 and kj isnt slacking off either

15-1 Match for cj, totally incredible

ladies and gentlemen, we have a new xzx in the making but with better net touch and consistency

Sopcast is the worst streaming program out there. Its extremely slow, unwatchable and very few people if any uses it. PPlive has hundreds to thousands of users so the speed is very much faster and smoother.

Another alternative to PPlive would be ppstream, they have many users as well and work pretty good.
