What time does the final starts? Any prediction?
I predict it starts at 2pm...
who are left in the finals?
China did the same trick again, having WeiLun conceding a walkover to Lin Dan in the semi, presumably fresher to face whoever the other (non-China) finalist. I just feel that such tactics throw the whole idea of an Open tournament into a farce. The IBF MUST come up with some rules against such unfair tactices, tantamount to match-fixing.
What excuse was given for the walkover?
Should be 7:00 PM.
It was reported Zhu WL suffered a shoulder injury. How much credibility does that claim holds is another question...
If however, Li pulled Zhu out just to give Lin a better, fresher chance for finals, then I feel there was an injustice done to both Zhu and Wong CH (Yes, that's coming from a person who goes all out for Chinese victory)!!
But I hope China sends Zhu out to more tourneys next year as he's shown his capability and will to win already, by defeating many decent players along the way (Kaldau, Yeoh, Park TS, Agus H). Perhaps in the near future, there will be even more capable players on the already talent-filled CHN MS squad.
