all eyes will be on the China Open Men's Singles. we all have our favorite players, it will be interesting to see whom the supporters are supporting!

the finals will start in a couple of hours.

    may the better player wins!

It's a national thing, for us Malaysians or Chinese. I'm sure almost all MAS will go MAS, CHN will go CHN. The votes for non-CHN or non-MAS will count! :)

    Head-to-head

    1-0 in Lin Dan's favour!
But it was a close one tough in the semis of 2003 Danish Open.
    Score: 13-15, 15-11, 15-1

Wong could have wrapped it in straight sets but somehow lost his composure and ended as a spentforce in rubber.

Hope Wong could make it this time!
    MALAYSIA BOLEH!!!:D

I want Choong Hann to win because China is up to its tricks again!!! Lin Dan "surprisingly" received a walkover from Zhu Wei Lun.

The finals starts at 19:00, but according to Kwun, the webcast will only start at 22:00. Hopefully people who subscribe to CCTV sports channel will post results here.

HAving seen the match now, it was very close.

What impresses me is Lin Dan's ability to change the pace to a faster tempo, and keep it going. He did this in the 2nd set winning many points in a row.

Wong did his usual tricks concentrating very well. Lin Dan's quality was very good because Wong was varying the height and pace of shots a lot. Pity that Wong got 2 service faults in the end of the 2nd set.

In the end, it was a case of both players playing well, but Lin Dan edged it.
