WYH already win back to back titles twice this year. All England- Swiss Open, then Paris-HK open.

Meanwhile LD already win 3 titles in a row this year (with rest between them) World Championship, China Open, Paris Open.

My point is I don't see why LCW need to play here considering he still has to play SEA Games and then SS finals.

Even if LCW did not play here and LD win here, LCW still rank number 1. Cause LD win here last year so even if he win this year, he will add zero point.

With Sea Games and SS finals, LCW will play 16 events in a year. And badminton ranking only based on 10 events in a year.

Might not be long, could be coming to an end soon. :(

Meanwhile your other friend LKW is through to the 2nd round with her new WD partner Ha Jung Eun :)

I suggest you check your own connection as most BC members (including me) had no problems with TS. Everything was pretty smooth.

I would also stop assuming that all the problem stem from the "mainland". You have a bit of a phobia; see your doctor.

Too bad I didn't. His recent form has been abysmal, so it was logical to PAW against him. In any case, nice to see one of badminton's good guys chalk up a good win. :)

SEA Games is not BWF sanctioned but BAM & NSC wants the top players to go, as Indonesia are sending their top players. i.e. compulsory to participate. ;)

SS Finals, Msia is hosting, but last year no ranking points given, so....

China SS, hmmmm, save on penalty fee for withdrawal? KKK/TBH, WPT/CEH are there & they're playing for SEA Games & qualified for SS FInals.

You hit the nail on the head.
It's a saving on penalty and fatigue.
The player is better placed to do well in the SEA Games and SS Masters finals.
    Very good strategy indeed.

    :):):)
