Wow, that picture can be deemed as insulting! It says "Taufik bro, I am thankful for your brave play. Those few, every one of them are harder to play against compared to you..."
I think the original poster is just trying to show China's amazing dominance in Badminton. If you include their (last?) win in Sudirman Cup where they never even lost a match (5-0, and 3-0 all the way i think) would make it even more amazing.
..the Thomas & Uber Cups and Sudirman Cup, although team events held every 2 yrs, are considered/represent World Team events..in other words, they are the World Champions of those team events..

..it's like a stock market graph..currently, we don't know if it'll continue going up or it will crash pretty soon..
too much "if"... sounds bcl is better, he could not win just because his opponent was ld... lcw is poor, he still could not win gold even his opponents is not ld, cj or bcl...
1. The winner of the first Sudirman Cup was INA not KOR. INA beat KOR 3-2. 2. No one can deny CHN dominance in World Badminton events. Altough CHN failed to get any title when badminton played in Olympic for the first time back in 1992.
..i believe the graph got it right in post #13 (shows INA as XT(mixed team) winner in 1989) but incorrect (typo) in post #7.
