CBA Doubles Competition in the Autumn 2011 season Gary Grierson, the Match Secretary of CBA (Central Badminton Association), has sent CCC Badminton this invitation; ====== * ====== start mail ====== * ====== Hi Chris, I am wondering if there might be a few players in your club who would be interested in playing in the doubles competition in the Autumn 2011 season. This season will run from 1st February to 30th June approximately. The doubles (2men and 2 ladies) competition has 2 levels; 1. Top level (high B tournament) that plays on Wednesday nights, and 2. Lower level (mid C Tournament) that plays on Tuesday nights. This competition is exclusively doubles and comprises of 1 Mens, 1 Ladies and 4 Mixed matches (3 rally point games to a maximum of 21 points). There is a 3 hour time limit and each player will pay close to $150.00 for the 15-week (plus finals) season. We currently have a vacancy for; * One team (2 men and 2 ladies) in the Wednesday night competition and * 2 ladies in seperate teams in the Tuesday night competition. We would accept a team entry that named more than the minimum number of players required on the basis that the team would be rotating players during the season.
