I thought the VT80 and new line of Yonex shoes went on sale only a week or so after the Finals of Yonex All England 2011?
WOWW , if every equipment top player wear were not sell , how can they get profit. You missed my point. Just some special cloth will not selll , they let only top player used.
I think you missed my point as well bro. Li-Ning's top player HAS already worn these shoes. Just curious as to when they will actually get released. Would have made more sense to release them during his own actual use of them. Or at least at the end of the tournament he wore them for. Who knows, maybe they'll get released in the next month or so.
i dont blame you. i think most of them are ugly too. but some of the newer yonex/victor shoes are pretty nice. i think tennis shoes look a lot nicer lol
I love my Astecs! Probably harder to find in your neck of the woods but these are stable, light, and provides very good grip, all for a staggering USD 35 only.
About the prices of Li-Ning clothing. Well Li-Ning is a very new brand in badminton terms and the chinese team has only been using them since April 2009 or so and in that year there were only like 2-3 different shirt designs that the players were wearing. Maybe that is the reason why everything is so expensive even now, because with the few articles they have (now there are of course a lot of shirts from them but still not anywhere near Yonex etc.) they want to earn the most they can. Of course Yonex shoes etc. aren't cheap either, but there are a lot of them that are definitely more affordable than all the Li-Ning products. That's just what I think. I can understand you wanting to buy new shoes though, I don't want to offend you really, but yeah those shoes you bought are probably the ugliest I ever though, sry. D: By the way I have these shoes which are a special edition of these. :3
I just bought a pair of these. On sale for £16 reduced from £55. Can't go wrong! They're light, comfy and grippy.
Sports Direct have plenty of the plainer looking indoor court shoes, if you ever need a replacement pair: http://www.sportsdirect.com/badminton/mens-badminton-shoes
yes, Babolat has venture into badminton. they have full range of badminton equipment. http://www.babolat.com/#/badminton/en/products/505
I like the design of most of yonex's shoes, although the new models start to seem a bit too flashy for me. My shb-101's are still doing good after 3 years and don't seem to have too much wear. I think it's still worth paying more for a good quality product that you'll use for a long time, but of course there is a limit.
@Naim.F.C: Really I can't help but think that these shoes are looking like normal outdoor shoes and that you'll have to buy new ones after 2-3 months. They just don't seem like sport shoes at all. But well I don't know how much you paid and maybe those were a like buy and and they really do hold for quite a long. I'm really not convinced though but everyone should play with the shoes they like best. (I still believe that plain white shoes look ugly though except the one from Yonex or Victor. )
