making rules/laws regarding which tournaments you must play & cannot play is downright dictatorial. bwf can justify it to themselves as being in the best interest of the sport and its fans all they want, but that would be the equivalent of telling people the earth is flat. in other words, no matter how you spin the purpose of your intent, the truth is quite different than what you claim. this is the most blatant example of exerting control over the athletes. if bwf's intent is the genuine concern for the sport to grow, well, this is a clueless way of showing you understand how to accomplish it. does this sound like a decision made in partnership with the teams/athletes? edit (addition): how will bwf handle the rule governing top players/pairs if a team wants to change pairings? ie. china's current xd situation, or late season changes like korea did in wd?

I am just wondering now that BWF300 is part of world tour there doesnt seem to be different between GPG and Superseries anymore. So if a country is dominant at 300 instead of 500-1000, do it matter?
