BWF improves the 'face' of Badminton Unlimited
The previous one was very old fashioned and not captivating at all
Also, especially get rid of those cringy dub

Funny that during unlimited interview not many states WorldChampionship as their main target. or if there are any.

if you mean by not many is 3 people (TTY, Srikanth, Viktor) out of 6 expressing their thought (Jia Yifan/CQC included as 1), then yes.
at least it is more than All England: twice said by Liliyana and Sung Ji Hyun
Asian Games mentioned 4 times though

I agree it begs the question of what the purpose is of the maximum of 4 Level 5/Super 300/Grand Prix Gold tournaments and whether this will be accompanied by 'Top Committed Players' being banned from playing Level 6 or International Challenges. Presumably, it is either to prevent them from skipping Superseries to reap easier points in Grand Prix Gold. It doesn't seemed designed to keep GPG events weak, since they can still play in 4 of them and they can play all 11 of them as long as they play all 15 of the neo-Superseries.
making rules/laws regarding which tournaments you must play & cannot play is downright dictatorial. bwf can justify it to themselves as being in the best interest of the sport and its fans all they want, but that would be the equivalent of telling people the earth is flat. in other words, no matter how you spin the purpose of your intent, the truth is quite different than what you claim.

this is the most blatant example of exerting control over the athletes.

if bwf's intent is the genuine concern for the sport to grow, well, this is a clueless way of showing you understand how to accomplish it.
does this sound like a decision made in partnership with the teams/athletes?

edit (addition): how will bwf handle the rule governing top players/pairs if a team wants to change pairings? ie. china's current xd situation, or late season changes like korea did in wd?

yeah, but how many non-asians did they talk to? ha!

hardly a scientific sampling on the whole, though.

I would think TTY said AsianGames. well, you cant pick both as favourite. Not sure what SK said but yes VA said its WorldChamp so maybe he is the only one.

I am just wondering now that BWF300 is part of world tour there doesnt seem to be different between GPG and Superseries anymore. So if a country is dominant at 300 instead of 500-1000, do it matter?
