When Deric Wong won the first set 21-11 in the first set I just thought that he will win the match but finally he ended up losing the match. Then majority of the China players are also very good and played very well today to win the matches. The MD from Taiwan also played very well to win the match today so hence they will play in the semifinals tomorrow. Japan continue to show that their WS is good when the one and only WS who have participated in this tournament have advanced to the semifinals. Once again Chan Peng Soon / Lai Pei Jing won today and they will play in the semifinals tomorrow. As for Vivian Hoo Kah Mun / Woon Khe Wei they also won today and they will play in the semifinals tomorrow. Wei Nan from Hong Kong is also very good and he really put up a good fight to win today's match. I am so impressed by his skills today. Congratulations. Another MX from Indonesia also played well to win today. They played very well and won the first set convincingly. Despite losing the second set, they fight back to win the third set and thus they will play tomorrow in the semfinals. Congratulations to all the winners today. They have really played very well to win all their matches.
Goh Liu Ying* . They have a tough match tomorrow against top seed Liu Cheng/Bao Yixin. H2H is 0-2 in favour of the top seed but let's hope for a third's time the charm for the MAS pair. Let's do this!
SEMIFINALS (01.00pm local time, 2 courts) => http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...54AC16-AB8D-41B7-B81E-E7A472832004&d=20150418 As predicted earlier, there's more than one all CHN affairs in tomorrow semifinal, four matches which will played at court 2. Will it be all CHN finals in all five categories? MS, Wang Zhengming is favoured based on convincing head-to-head : 3-0 against Wei Nan and if he prevails most likely he will meet the left-handed second seed Tian Houwei. Both Wang ZM and Wei N have been stretched into long duration match at last eight by two local young hopeful Zhao JP and Lin GP respectively. Wei Nan is no pushover as he did in Incheon AG to win bronze medal. WS, He Bingjiao, Chen Yufei and Hui Xirui, these three teens will chase final ticket, one foreign challenge is coming from Chisato Hoshi and we'll see whether the Japanese youngster will reject all China final scenario. In doubles discipline, TPE MD Liao MC/Tseng MH performance seems convincing, straight-sets winning en route to semifinal and not possible they will book final ticket. Last year winner Kang J/Liu C will take on the juniors Li JH/Liu YC. Vivian Hoo/Woon KW will challenge not so strong home WD Tang JH/Zhong QX, the top seed still has opportunity to pass this round. INA XD pair Subaktiar/Widjaja once again will meet another home pair, this time is Wang YL/Tang YT while former world #3 Malaysian duo Chan PS/Goh LY has tough wall to break, the in-form Liu/Bao who looks unstoppable to reach final spot. LIVE TV (court 1, 01.00pm) matches : 1) Edi Subaktiar/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja (INA) v Wang Yilu/Tang Yuanting (CHN) 2) Wang Zhengming (CHN) v Wei Nan (HKG) 3) Vivian Hoo Kah Mun/Woon Khe Wei (MAS) v Tang Jinhua/Zhong Qianxin (CHN) 4) Hui Xirui (CHN) v Chisato Hoshi (JPN) 5) Liao Min Chun/Tseng Min Hao (TPE) v Wang Yilu/Zhang Wen (CHN)
Yes it is indeed a good performance so far from Chan peng soon / goh Liu Ying. Goh Liu Ying legs are still heavily strapped whenever she goes for tournaments so it is definitely not easy for her. Anyway just hope that both Chan / goh and continue to perform well tomorrow vs China MX. Tough match as Liu Cheng / Bao Yixin world ranking is no 3 and looks difficult to win. However nothing is impossible and I sincerely hope they can win tomorrow.
For Liu/Bao, consistency or ennui? They have been playing quite a lot lately. So far here they don't look as sharp as in earlier tournaments.
