Do you have that video?. Which junior player ? As of I know, he played only against Anup sridhar who is a senior player in india among the current crop of players.
Sun Yu's net play is no good, her shots generally simple and straightforward, little or no deception, her movement a bit stiff. However, her build, height and reach can make her opponents wary of lifting to her.
Yup, looks like ZN with yellow jacket. Much better performance by Lindaweni in game 2, she leads 11-9...
Linda forces rubber games after took game 2 with 21-18. Court 2, rematch of last year's MD final, this time won by Rasmussen/Sorensen.
Sun Yu really should improve on her net play, she's hitting too many shots long with her high clears.
Didn't expect Sun Yu to run away with G3, Lindaweni not as sharp and forceful as she was in G2. I suspect SY's stamina isn't too good, in long rallies she seems to be the first to tire and make mistakes.
21-7 at deciding game for CHN youngster winning. Even GP Gold tourney is really hard for INA WS to produce a breakthrough
Almost fell asleep watching SY playing against Lindawani. Any link to court 2. The link provided by Mr. Epic has no sound coming through at all.
Sun Yu's net play comes and goes. She can totally befuddle even WSX on a good day, or more precisely, in a good game. Her main problem is the lack of match experience. Presumably, she plays only the safe shots to get by. She needs to put a lot more wins and losses on her record before she can perform consistently.
Right, Sun Yu's lack of match experience playing so few international tournaments is a drawback, a serious disadvantage.
What a match it turned out to be.. H.S.PRANNOY took the match 21-14, 19-21, 30-28. An absolute thriller. Who is this Emil holst. Upcoming player?. Meanwhile, giant run of Adrian dzialco came to an end by veteran scott evans in straight games. Good run Adrian.
Just look at Emil vs Prannoy, I thought it 's going to 29-all the sudden death but in the end Prannoy took it 30-28 in the 3rd set. Emil was so frustrated with himself that he threw his racquet over to Prannoy's side but wasn't yellow - or red-carded by the chair umpire; anyway, he gestured to the crowd to applaud their performance. What a tussle.
